  1. Doran leaving the stadium on crutches last night. According to someone who was in the presence of the board last night the board members reckon he's done. Shame he actually looked decent last night before he got injured could've still been a good player for us in the remaining games we have left & next season regardless of where we are.
  2. Exactly this. When you have a sqaud like ours with few quality players you have to play to our strengths something that Big Dunc hasn't done too well... you have to get the roles right. Look at Austin Samuels for example hardly phenomenal as a striker but he's got loads of pace something we lack up front. Dunc won't even give him a minute off the bench... instead he'll throw Pepples on who isn't that fast at all. Near the end of the games we are crying out for pace just throw him on for 10 or 20 minutes.
  3. himself, Carson & Wotherspoon although McAllister looked like he was getting better & was the replacement for Wotherspoon we were looking for. Then he got injured & sent back to Everton. He wouldn't have been as good as Wotherspoon but he could've filled that attacking midfielder role We didn't even know Cammy Kerr could play in midfield when we signed him so if Dunc or the club try & make out he was Welsh's replacement all along they can f**k off with that. Samson looks decent so far but he was signed as an emergency to replace Gilmour way after we got rid of Welsh.
  4. You'll get months when he's fit then he'll pick up an injury where's he's on the sidelines for ages. He's already had his long term injury this campaign so you should be good till end of the season. What pissed a lot of ICT fans off including myself is that we let him go on a free transfer to one of our relegation rivals when he was actually fit. He actually wanted to leave in all fairness he had his house up for sale & everything but he would've stayed till the Summer to help us avoid the drop but like Carson we forced them both out prematurely. Lot of the games where we lost or threw away points by drawing we could've done with him in midfield getting a grip of the game. Fortunately for us we had his & Sheridans number on Saturday. It's not over yet though I can see us losing to Morton on the final day thanks to a George Oakley goal & Queens beating Airdrie after a Welsh scremer sending ICT to the relegation play offs we'll have to see how it goes....
  5. We're not THAT bad to be fair we've got one of the best defences in the league it's our midfield & Attack that have really hampered us this season so I can't see us getting thrashed 3-0. However I can see us losing 1-0 or going out on penalties cause we can't score or get a grip of the midfield. The loan players won't be wanting ICT to go down it's not a good look for them same with any other player that's wanting to leave. Keep the club up go onto your next chapter knowing you did your job your next manager can see that as well. If Dodds was still in charge Arbroath would still be in with a chance of staying up. Ferguson isn't miles better but he's picked up points Dodds would've lost
  6. It worked months ago against Dundee Utd & he's stuck with it ever since. Problem is it only works in certain games. 7 out of 10 we need to be taking the game to them having more players up front not playing with 5 at the back I can't see us getting thrashed 3-0 to be fair but I can see us drawing 0-0 or 1-1 & going out on penalties
  7. https://www.inverness-courier.co.uk/sport/chairman-confirms-inverness-caledonian-thistle-will-restruct-347354/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter Not the best reading for ICT fans but it's been inevitable for a while now... reckon we could go part time regardless of whether we stay up or not.
  8. Robert Eagle on Monday Riccardo Calder the following week I can see the back pages now
  9. Fairly close from what I've heard hence why it took so long to get the contract signed. He'd still do a job for Ayr The system we play just doesn't suit him he plays way too deep at times almost like a CAM. Should be up front as much as possible
  10. If we get relegated no chance. I can't see a lot of players willing to stay even if we do stay up. I can imagine our squad next season being filled with youth players & loanees cause that's all we can afford. We just want this season done then we can start to worry about the sqaud for next season Billy Mckay pushed for a 2 year contract now rumours has it he wants gone by the Summer. I totally believe it cause why would he want to stay another season? If he wants gone I can't see the likes of Cammy being to keen either.
  11. He doesn't trust Mcgregor, Samuels, Bray or Brooks. He's a stubborn idiot who'd rather pick academy players with no professional experience. Carson & Welsh were pretty much forced out by him. They were willing to stay till Summer but Dunc wanted his signings in & that meant they had to go.
  12. Totally agree Samuels can't hit a barn door some games but our passing at times is made for his pace who cares if all he can do is run with the ball if he can bring other players into the game by beating defenders then he's worth a shout in my opinion. He's not totally useless in front of goal either he can score the odd goal. Dunc should be seeing this being such a great tactican & all. Why stick with slow strikers when our passing & style of play is screaming for some pace up front
  13. He came over to the fans at the bottom of the stand who were clearly pissed off & he got told where to go by a few. His attitude then changed completely where he started shouting back going on about how we only lost cause we were down to 10 men. Nothing wrong with his tactics & decisions of course What planet is this guy on? I get showing appreciation to the away support even after a lose but coming up to that section was just stupid. Especially with the run we're currently on & our current position in the league etc etc You could cleary see they weren't happy so why the f**k would you walk up to them like a patronising c**t then act shocked when you get told a few home truths
  14. he seems to be oblivious to our current situation. We need to play to win not just to avoid defeat. We need to create & convert way more chances. The goal we scored sounded like a lucky one Walton should've done better with Pepples cross. Looks like it would've been another defeat had Duffy not been at the right place at the right time. Billy Mckay & Shaw only players apart from Wotherspoon to have scored over 3 goals this season. Alex Samuel scored 3 in one match against Raith that's it. Someone needs to step up & be a constant threat
  15. Should've been a great result today picking up a point away to a desperate top of the table Dundee Utd side but i can't help but feel miffed after that especially after results around us. Don't get me wrong I'll take it all day long but it's still frustrating. Duncan Ferguson saying thats it's a great result is just pissing me off it's the same shit every week as long as we don’t lose he seems to be delighted well that ain't good enough for me. Draws with the odd win in a month won't get us out of the bottom 2. Maybe in previous seasons it would've worked but this season no. Maybe if we actually won at home then we can celebrate a point away to Dundee Utd. But we're 3 points adrift & Ayr have a game in hand. Ayr are the only team now that I can see us realistically catching so we can't let them get too far ahead. Next week against Partick is crucial anything less then a win & we are pretty much set for 9th.
