I agree with the second sentence. He has all the makings to develop, but is not there yet imo for Championship. I think we could strive for better in the sticks. It's not a disaster by a long shot if he is our starting keeps though... I respect that. I liked the Airdrie keeper, Max Currie. QOTS took him but I wish it was us. He's a wee blue nose but a good keeper.

I wont be too pleased if Ferrie is our first choice next season, sorry Calum pal.

Charlie Fox is an exceptionally good QP player. I hope to watch him play for years and years to come.

I think Greg Stewart is out of sight sadly. His wages will be nothing close to Muzza. For what it's worth, I'd let Murray go and divert his wages elsewhere too. Charlie Fox came from Engerland Nations League. I wonder if there are a few more gems to be dug up and brought to the southside.

Morrison and Fox are my central pairing. I'd keep Tommy and try get another right back. Keep Doyle at the club but we can do better I think. I'm also worried for Ferrie... his form has been poor. Flapping around the box at most cross balls with no conviction or presence. Coyle hasn't seen the best of him and I think he could be in danger if he has a decent contact.

It depends what individuals ambitions are. If it is to compete in the championship then we undoubtedly need a much better squad.

My thoughts exactly. I am bemused at Coyle/Potter picking Longstaff ahead of Quitongo yesterday. Does anyone know if these loan deals require X amount of games/minutes? I would stay well clear of that contractual obligation in the future, if it is a thing. We'll see who Coyle fancies for next year but Jai himself must be getting frustrated. Perhaps he's satisfied enough if the money is good.

Cove were bang average today but I think we made them look so. Bob has been good for weeks and that finish was ridiculous. I'm really happy with the point but conceding when we did is a sore one. Very frustrating watching Longstaff play with far far far far far far betting options on the bench. Boys done class but Ferrie has gave me the fear for a few weeks. Quite a few times he’s flapping around and often it doesn’t come to much but it is risky. Maybe just his height disadvantage but he’s not commanding that 6 yard box like we need

Our unbeaten run against Cove this season is nice in isolation but when the games are peeled back it's little comfort. In my humble opinion, Cove were bossing us until Fyvie was sent off in the first fixture. The 3-3 tie was tight and could have went either way to be fair but then Cove should have buried us last time. We done superb with 10 men but they had so many great chances. We'll need to be right up for this. The pitch is sure to be in horrific condition with Partick hosting Arbroath tomorrow. Still, unbeaten is unbeaten against the league leaders and we've had the steel needed in those games. Hopefully another 3 points and it's one hand on 4th spot.. I expect Falkirk to drop points against Montrose tomorrow.

Hmm, I personally don’t think that’s a minus like other QP fans believe it to be. If Morrison is fit next week then him and Foxy are better imo. Shouting and organising can only get you so far, at some point you need to run, defend and not pick up loads of bookings. I personally think Owen Coyle will have plans beyond Peter Grant and I hope so too, need a better defender in there with pace. He’s gave us something when fit over the past 2 years but I can’t see him in the Championship, if that is our aim.
