Also, we miss Dom Thomas when he’s out. Some players have their best game when they don’t play. I’m a big Savoury fan so I’d have him starting every week with Dom, McPake and Murray in that system Coyle likes. We’ll see if he drops Savoury or Jarrett when Dom returns.

We need another right back. Bannon is a good centre back but need another Robson on that side. Coyle must not think very highly of Davidson or loanee Boateng. Jarrett has scored a couple but doesn’t generally offer much, hardly impacts the game for my liking. Jack Thomson was outstanding again yesterday, MOTM performance. I expect the fans to turn on Coyle if he plays Eze over Charlie Fox in the future, which he inevitably will.

Is Scotty Williamson injured or fell out of favour with the gaffer? Surely he was a better option off the bench than Kenny. The game was getting more physical and Dundee were piling on the pressure. Scott can put himself about far better than Kenny as a lone striker. He's so young and lightweight (not his fault) that Dundee won everything in that last 10 minute spell. Very confused at that one to be honest.

I've not seen anything in the first 2 games against Dundee to think QP can get a result here That said, we're currently above you lot so we shouldn't fear anything. Perhaps we're due a better performance against Dundee. I'm cautiously optimistic after Saturday however. We were dogged in the first half then silky smooth (Zohan style) in the second. Hopefully Coyle has something crafty here to send the Hilltown tinkers on their way

That was a thing of beauty today. Taking the absolute piss at the end. What a result on the road, that felt like home, but not this seasons home. It’s all very confusing. No confusion as to who runs Glasgow however. Absolutely pumped. Jack Thomson is honestly becoming my hero. The development in one year is unreal. McPake can be a hit or a miss but the first half assist and goals were Sue Perb. Defence looks mental but no doubting the desire, resilience and battle. Doing everything to keep a clean sheet today. No fear for Dundee now. I thought Partick would skelp us today so let’s have it.

Same team again for Queens and keep the consistency. Hopefully Murray is fit since he went down before being subbed off. It felt like more of a precaution than an injury. There is no doubt Dundee were stronger than us in the League Cup but we weren't blown away (okay maybe a little in the first half) and we had our chances. We'll create enough on Saturday there is no doubt about that. You guys haven't had the start you, or the rest of the league, probably expected ae? We're an improved side, even from that League Cup fixture. We were finding our feet early in the season that's for sure. I'll take a score draw 2-2 on Saturday.
