  1. I remember fan consultation at a few meetings and supporters raising the point about standing. I can accept a crackin all seater stadium and standing being ignored to make it look right or just any other reasonable justifiable reason. When the 40 seater royal box thing started though it soured me completely and my attitude was shove it up yer arse. A small section for supporters that travel home and away week in week out really wasn't an unfair request. I recall a standing back row was proposed which was an awful design and never seen anywhere, but they scrapped that as well. People enjoy difference experience's the fitba. Some people sit, others stand. Some are quiet, others sing and like a shout. I thought it was wise for the club to take a forward step and organise a place for standing singing supporters. Instead, the stadium is very small and probably wont fit all home and away fans. People will be spread about and be forced to sit in their allocated seat. This will 100% reduce the match day experience for fans and players won't get as many chants. This is why big clubs get involved with fans to arrange these things. We are starting to have a winning player and coach mentality with a community bowling club governance team.
  2. Supporters want a standing area but if you don't wear a wee QP tie on match day you can f**k off
  3. We've lost only 1 in our last 5 league awaydays and that was to Cove. I don't think we were awful in early November but Cove took their chances and we were a bit huffy and puffy without too much final quality. I expect a QP win but defo a tough 3 points. Paul Hartley returns eh, how exciting. Reverse score this time, QP 2-0 win. I'm still a little bitter about the way Cove Board Members behaved when they came to Hampden, I shouldn't apply that to all Cove fans of course but a little bitterness and needle in football ain't gonna hurt.
  4. I love turning up every week to support this team. The gaffer and players have it all spot on at the moment.
  5. Was the supporter in the middle of the park or in the changing room? How far you willing to take this pish?
  6. The fluidity, the rotations, the triangles to play out of danger, the switch of play when it’s on or the ball between the lines. Every player getting so much right and putting in a shift. What a style and good watch. Great game and impressive support considering the conditions. A few Christmas songs to boot. Excellent finish to the year, Merry Christmas Spiders Good luck for the rest of the season Arbroath, the work done up there to grow the support has been impressive. Enjoyed the young team squaring up the the fans out of nowhere.
  7. Merry Christmas to you. This should be a QP win but Arbroath away is a notoriously brutal fixture. Only in a football sense. Not in a pie, banter or seaside sense. QP 2-0
  8. They've been obsessed with growing the fan base and getting more supporters through the gates. It's all absolutely pointless if there isn't a seat to sit on. They done well to get over 3000 in Hampden but for what? We won't be able to do that again with our little stadium, especially if we're playing a bigger side. It's all very amateur. Posting free tickets through a school letter box is easy, building a proper stadium was the hard bit. They're hopeless.
  9. I doubt this game will be on troops. It's one that Morton will fancy considering form and home tie. We fancy a victory based on our form and general Scottish fanciful expectations before every football match. FAO Morton crew: Will QP fans be behind the goals on the terrace? 3-2 QP win me thinks. COOOOOOOOOOOOOMEOOOOONUUUUUUUQUUUUEEEEENNS
  10. Another win for the Spiders and we're turning on the style towards the New Year. I thought Montrose were terrific in spells and really unlucky not to score. Rory McAllister looked absolutely knackered and quite heavy to be honest. Few outstanding saves by Ferrie, who probably deserved his MOTM. Dom Thomas was the standout outfield player imo, very creative and direct. Great run and finish by McPake, he must have been burst that late in the game and running that distance, happy days. It felt like a late winner although we were in the lead the way it secured the victory after some very nervy moments. What a great opportunity to reach a cup final and grow the QP dream. I'd like to thump Clyde in the Quarters. QP are piling on the agony and putting on the style Is there a spare QP jacket for Owen Coyle? he's wore the same layers since August.
  11. Following a club with more supporters gives you a feeling of moral superiority ae? does it bolster your inadequate self? as if you've personally achieved something or done anything of relevance. It's really insecure mate.
  12. Very enjoyable today. 4 goals in 20 mins, how bizarre. We didn't play great in honesty, very clinical but we've created a lot more in other games. I think Hamilton will be playing L1 next year which is scary considering the long spell in the prem. 3200 is a great turnout, even if it was freebies. The club can start to grow now we're back in Glasgow. Hunt for the title is on folks....
  13. He's 19 years old learning his trade. He gets 10 minutes here and there, relax.
  14. A terrace would be cheaper than a stand, complete the stadium on all sides, increase capacity, and most importantly, make the faithful QP fans happy!!
  15. A standing area was literally the one request from football supporters. That was promised and then squashed fairly quickly.
  16. If we’re playing good football and winning I don’t think his son being involved is a crime. Alex Ferguson got his son an undeserved premier league medal but it’s one of them, everyone’s happy and doing well, we’ll let that one go. Maybe his son is a good coach and contributing well. Perhaps he is pish and shouldn’t be there
  17. Need to see the pull on Dom but looked like a pen in the opening minutes
  18. I’ll be fak!n ragin if Fox or Kilday is dropped for Eze.
  19. Shitey home support and sit down shut up comes at you quick boys. Safe travel up the road. 18% HAHAHAHAAHAHAHHAHAAH
  20. Is the south stand still planned or have we run oot of bees and honey
  21. I can't see us spending how many million on Lesser to move into Hampden. They wanted us out with no favours. I doubt the rumours are true.
  22. Was that not just for old firm games? The assumption being attract 30K fans and QP and SFA could split the cash? I thought it was some kind of deal like that for a selection of fixtures.
  23. Hopefully it works out in the end but honestly it looks really poor
