Davidson has made some mistakes in recent weeks for sure but no doubt the root cause of the situation we find ourselves in was LeeAnn Dempster (and others) giving Marijn Beuker full control of the first team in the summer.

Correct. The club totally failed in that regard. Giving Marijn full control to get rid of Owen Coyle (crazy decision) and replacing him with his inadequate Dutch pal was truly shocking.

  2. Veldman has taken a side 3 points from being champions to a weak light touch pushover. We look very young, very naive and totally lost when the games heat up.

Beuker has had an absolute howler here, replacing Coyle with this guy is a shambles.

Beuker also needs to check his summer recruitment and squad depth, very very poor.

How has this absolute farce with Lesser come about? Who decided on the ridiculous, stupid layout? It's so short sighted and limiting and seems to go against everything else your club is saying.

What’s worse is no one taking any accountability or offering an apology. A host of questions from all different types of supporters were met with contempt, arrogance and deflection. The President answers were either, “right”, “okay”, or some defensive counter argument steeped in denial.

At no point did anyone take accountability for anything that’s happened in the last 3 years, apologise or say what went wrong and how they plan to do it differently. Speaking with the President is just a total waste of time in my opinion.

I think that finishing in the top three of the Championship two seasons after being in League Two is probably much better than the club anticipated at the outset of the project, to be honest. I don't think the idea was ever to treat the whole venture as a failure if the team didn't make it to the top division in the quickest possible timeframe (although obviously it's been disappointing to blow a golden opportunity to do so).

Don't really know about "more money being chucked at it" but I would imagine that the club is still pretty solvent from the Hampden sale and I would hope that the next season will be an opportunity to really grow the support as an established Championship side with an actual home ground in the heart of the south side where it should be.

A sensible and patient response. Dundee fans are so thick I just call them clowns these days. Glad to see other QP fans with the calmness to give decent replies.

We’ve came from L2, had a crack in our first year in the champ and had a really good season doing so. Life goes on, plenty of things to cheer about and a lot more room for growth on and off the pitch.

Also, wtf was the boos at half time? 🤣 some people need to chill out, those boys don’t deserve that haha leave the boos for the hu ns.

You were 7 points clear at the top of the table in March and finished 5 points adrift - in third place.

You took four points from the last seven league games of the season.

That is a bottle job of the highest, Morton in 03/04 category.

We know how pish we’ve been, but we don’t need any pointers from your pish set up is the point

  6. Gutted! Expected a dog fight all season and a 6/7th place finish. To go this far has been mental and thanks to the players for the memories. That was the best first half of football I’ve probably seen live, absolutely electric.

An awful lot of Dundee arseholes, but also many just wanting to celebrate with their team. The police were shameful leaving OC alone, waste of money these guys. Dundee gaffer done the right thing, good for him touch of class.

Our defence is shocking, I’ll be very very surprised if we don’t have 2 fresh centre half’s for next season.

Also quite a few loans this year, OC will need to solve the puzzle in the summer but I’m sure he will.

QP fans kept their class again yesterday, proud of my club and team. Can’t see us progressing through the play offs but we’ll be there following. 🕷️🖤🤍

Falkirk Council have approved an additional 188 tickets for Dundee fans.

What on Gods green earth has Falkirk Council got to do with it, what am i missing here 🤣🤣🤣  Holyrood and Westminster allocating tickets as well? The UN fancy chiming in? The Galactic Senate punting tickets at Tim Hortons?

    No, that's incorrect.

The original plan was for the away support to be housed behind the opposite goal. The terrace which Dundee fans are now in was to be used for Queen's Park fans.

Due to your club's whinging, and the SPFL inexplicably forcing a bigger allocation, this had to be swapped. As a result the number of home tickets has been massively limited and a lot of people are now going to miss out.

I’m utterly shocked by the SPFL stepping in. What right do they have to force a club, at home (temporary or not) into giving X amount of tickets. Especially when it can result in a disadvantage to us.
There’s countless examples of bigger teams not getting the allocation they want in the prem. Celtic and Rangers only have 800 in their 50K and 60K stadiums. Motherwell and St Mirren etc always have spare seats against old firm but choose to only give them one stand. Which is completely their right. So why has QP been forced to give more? If we’re at home we should pick what stand we want and the away allocation. Is there any rules around that or just the SPFL being c u nts and stepping in for a single fixture?

40/1 start of the year, you Dundee boys should be embarrassed 🫣😆🤪

ICT away will be a tough game for Dundee, so they might well drop points. However after that they have Cove at home. So QP really need to get a win at Ayr - that's not going to be easy.

Hopefully ICT do us a favour, because I can’t see Cove helping with their form 🤣 Fact of the matter is, 3 QP wins and the title is ours…

Excuse me for having a ski holiday booked about 9 months ago. I have been to all the QP games home and away apart from a couple.

Don’t miss the point, people miss games all the time. It was about the general lack of support for the big run in. My point was actually a well done to those that make it, not a moan at people that cannot.
Truth is that Raith away support was poor.

I must admit it was a low turnout wasn't it? I know public transport connections to Kirkcaldy aren't quick from Glasgow but I would have expected us to take 300+, even given the start of the school holidays. I think we had half of that.

Yeah I didn’t realise until it was online. Always excuses for people if they search for them, really lacking away numbers.

The usuals that turn up each week find a way and fair play to them.

  12. Scotland coach John Carver full of plaudits on Sky Sports today about the QP changing rooms and pitch. It's premier league standard and incredible he said. He went on to say the quality of surface at Oriam was a safety risk, which is a pretty big statement! That all sounds very good and the changing rooms and pitch are certainly top class!  So bravo and big cheers for that.

It begs the question however, what is QP getting in return? I assumed, foolishly of course, that Scotland using our pitch would mean something in return.  We've got nothing, apart from asking for favours somewhere down the line. Scotland needed a pitch, for safety not just convenience, and QP had leverage. No deal, no contractual arrangement, no exchange between two parties, just uncertain favours and promises, during a time when we absolutely need assurances.

Professional footballers, experienced coaches, and premier pitch. Golf club committee men.

😳 Wow, I know this thread has plummeted to to the depths but (apart from the Molotov cock tales, obviously) this has to be one of the worst. To still be spouting Trump-style shite the day after the game is ridiculous enough, but the guff about Stella, needles and alkies - honestly, have a word with yerself. You've just taken your first point of the season from Morton, albeit it's taken you till March to do it - you should be at least reasonably content to still be clear at the top of the division at the moment.

And that last paragraph.......   you didn't think that through at all, did you? Queens Park have been stinking out the lower divisions for more than a century now; it's taken a millionaire Celtic fan adopting you as his pet project of the day to  get you where you are right now.  Without his cash you'd still be grubbing about in League Two.  Getting to the top of the Championship at this stage has clearly given you delusions of grandeur, as well as a nosebleed, whereas after the last couple of seasons Morton fans are delighted to be fan-owned, debt free and in with a good chance of reaching the playoffs. The "bitterness" and "rage" you speak of is all your own work.  Seek help, sunshine.

I don’t recall Trump calling Morton fans spoon burners. Have a laugh tiger even if yer team plays pish fitbaw.

The utter hypocrisy of Morton fans moaning about investment into a club, another QP poster just covered it. People investing in football clubs is nothing new, get over it, and yes, it does show your bitterness.
