FT: Swifts 0-3 East Fife. Bit of a one-sided game with East Fife dominating. Best for East Fife were Healy and Austin but they got hooked at half time along with half a dozen others. Lost count of the shots rattled off the woodwork during the second half!

NB: St Andrews United v Dunfermline Athletic has been called off so no game this week and no date yet for the replay.

I couldn’t make todays game but by all accounts it was a comfortable win for the Saints today.
They gifted Dalkeith an early goal with a goalkeeping mistake then dominated the rest of the game, hitting the woodwork twice and missing plenty of chances.
The next few weeks will tell us plenty about Dalkeith as they play Stirling, Syngenta, Whitburn and Thornton in their next four games.
I predict that Dalkeith won't gather more than a single point from those games . . .

So, if Darvel win the play-offs and Bo’ness win next weekend, Bo’ness will be promoted?
Yes!

Interesting, could I ask where that is from?
It is part of the official document that was published last summer. There were paragraphs under the coloured charts and this is one of them. Had to do some digging to find the relevant part but this is kosher!

Looks like it will actually be three up when Darvel beats Tranent to make First and Second Divisions of 18 teams. With Whitburn, Bo'ness Athletic and Syngenta coming up that will be a very competitive League.
Would still be two is my understanding. Three if they'd been a net loss to the LL but that won't be the case now.

We appear to have everything in place for our licence Ginaro but I’m not getting excited until the SFA AGM on 21st June.
I would agree, the promoted teams from conference X will be among the favourites for division two. We’re still waiting to hear his many teams will be promoted. Three would make sense.
If Darvel beats Tranent/Penicuik then there will be only one Conference X team coming up to Div 2 this summer by my maths!

Your lights are now sorted and everything else in place to be licensed and in the Scottish Cup next season?
Lights sorted - wading through child protection matters this afternoon!!!!!!!!! Still got other wee areas of admin to resolve before the 11th of May but hopeful we'll get there.

Think St Andrews United didn't get their licence last season because the lux levels measured narrowly missed the recommendations in some way, so although what you state fits the wording, in practice it is probably closer to a requirement.
Correct - 200 average lux and 0.25 min/max is a requirement for a licence but not for the EoSFL. We acquired 226 av. lux a long time ago but getting the 0.25 min/max was a b*gger given how our lights were installed. I too will be interested to see how Oakley's lights rate based on that layout.

Latest photo of St Andrews United's floodlights and recent Social Media post below . . .
Good Evening Ladies and Gentlemen,This time tomorrow we will be making history by playing the first ever Senior football match under floodlights in St Andrews!!! The lights now meet SFA standards and look fantastic, as can be seen from our photograph! The game against Kennoway Star Hearts kicks off at 7.45pm and the top gate will open at 7pm. Entry is the usual £6 for adults plus £3 for concessions. There are a limited number of programmes left from the Edinburgh United match since we produced a double issue and The Social Club bar will be open at 6pm.See you tomorrow and enjoy the game!6 -
St Andrews United recorded an average lux of 223 at the last count but only 0.2 min/max so adjustments are needed there (crazy level of 0.25 required). One of the poles being too short is also causing issues. On the plus side, the floodlight foundations passed an inspection last week, which was required to obtain a safe capacity certificate from Fife Council. Everything else has been in place for a while but the most recent need to disclosure check despite not employing under 18s is an additional fankle. The target now is to pass a full inspection in February.
