  1. Who can play in each position: GK - Sneddon, Stone LB - Holt, Foster, Bannigan, (Mayo?) CB - Bell, Mayo, McKenna, Sena, Holt, (Brownlie) RB - Foster, McKenna, Mayo, Gordon CM - Bannigan, Docherty, Turner, Gordon, Smith, Mayo, Sena W - Tiffoney, Murray, Rudden, McIver, Smith CF - Graham, Rudden, McIver, Smith, Tiffoney, Murray We also only have 3 left footed outfield players - Holt, Bannigan, Sena. Winger position looks light as it’s only Tiffoney and Murray there for their natural position, so would think a left sided winger is a main target. Left back looks a bit light too.
  2. McCall on sportsound saying Rudden deal just needs clearance now. Nominal fee with a sell on clause
  3. Read a rangers fan on twitter saying he’s a ball winning midfielder who can also score goals. Well thought of too
  4. Yeah think he said 1 or 2. Also said they were looking at different combinations in the second half, including penrice in midfield
  5. Did slater do something to his ankle? Will he be ready for start of the season?
  6. Didn’t see the game, only listened to open all mics. How did thistle play?
  7. Seemed to be something about his socks? Needed to get some red tape before they would let him on. Not sure why though
  8. Has Keown covered at RB before? It’s one of his ‘other positions’ on transfermarkt
  9. That was pish. Disappointingly similar to last year in terms of passing it sideways with no urgency, too many touches, and running with the ball towards another player who just stands there waiting until they pass or run into each other before passing it backwards again. Incredibly frustrating as it is, booing and heckling probably isn’t going to help the team’s confidence. We started well but confidence was fucked after Christie’s inexplicable run towards goal. Not much could be done about the second. Would be good to see Fitzpatrick start instead of spittal next week. I’m optimistic that if we don’t make silly mistakes next week’s result will be more positive.
  10. Bannigan stood out. Storer and Slater played well. Some wayward passing at times out of defence/midfield by some. New signings looked quite good in general. Storer played deeper than I thought he’d play. In general team didn’t seem too threatening in attack, particularly after Storer went off but guess these games are about fitness and players getting used to each other. Possibly tiredness was creeping in by then too. Storer and Slater were taking set pieces until they were subbed, then Spittal. Tam looks good, particularly set pieces - scored one and had a good chance at another
