If anything we will get a defender in. But I don't think we'll see anybody coming in today.
Cardle and McPake can be done outside the window. Loans as well.

Was that secretive shareholders meeting not tonight? Any word?
Aye, good shout. Forgot about that. Not sure you will hear much though.

Honestly doesn't bother me the Dundee thing. They generally have better quality players than us these days and the manager knows their abilities and personalities.

Good result for the Pars at Tannadice after 3 weeks off and half a first team missing.
Morton just going from strength to strength at the moment.
Pars have beaten Morton in both games this season but seems like we're up against a different beast this time.
Pars will still be short due to injuries again for this one, but hopefully a couple new signings before the game. Not sure if Morton are looking bring anybody in before the deadline but regardless they may well be bookies favourites for this one.
Think this will be close and predicting a 1-1 draw.

Looking back at it, Deniz and Edwards have got us that point. Some save and an equally brilliant block to get the clean sheet. Up until then I genuinely never felt threatened by United.
To Goodwin: yes, a team missing about 5 starters and not played in 3 weeks, whilst being on poor form, will celebrate a 0-0 draw away to the so-called Champions elite. What a banger of a man he is!
Always be remembered for the Darvel result. Can't believe he got the Dundee United job after that. Useless clown of a man.

McCann is a frustating player. Either very good or awful. Never an in between. I still think he will come good eventually.

Good point. Loads of injuries(there you go. Had to mention it for that arab bellend earlier in the thread).
Couple signings in the door next week and we're set up nicely for a battle with Morton next week.

Hamilton will be centre back and Otoo in midfield, surely?
I just thought with Chalmers playing we might put Hamilton in there for balance. Otoo and Chalmers both left footed. Though we have played both in midfield before.
Anybody tell us who's in midfield?

First 11 looking a bit better at least. Hope we don't need to make a sub.
Hamilton back in midfield will be good.

Quite like the Clep bar. True old school wee place on Clepington Road.

Think folk need to chill out a bit.
Not saying that we should ignore the few (influential fan) murmers but the club are still actively trying to sign Premiership players. I genuinely think there's fuk all to this. The owners could maybe cover our (alleged)loses quite easily? Could even be factored in as part of their long term plan.

Reading between the lines of Mcpakes pre match I reckon we're still in for Brophy.
He said the player we're after plays outside Scotland.

Nobody on here has a clue about ours or Rovers finances in all truth. Just wishful thinking that each of our clubs are getting is wrong financially.
Rovers clearly going for quick success and our owners are looking for something longer term. Time will tell how the two very different visions pan out.

Oli Shaw recalled by Barnsley, remember being rumoured to be interested in the summer, maybe one we'll revisit
Going by the Motherwell fans comments, he sounds utterly dreadful.

If folk in the know have concerns then I hope these concerns are put to the board and the board give some honest answers in return.
It gives me the fear a wee bit as it has an air history repeating itself before Masterton got outed.
I feel this academy is going to bring more problems than answers to be honest. It's sound s like a money pit, when we don't really have much money. This is a project that could've been started if we reached the Premiership and we were a bit better off financially. We need to get the first team in a better postion before pumping money into a youth academy. Bigger wealthier clubs in Scotland are not exactly producing a prodcution line of great talent from their academies. I'm sure they will have better funded, further reaching set-ups than ours too.

We got rid of Todorov and O’Hara in the summer because McPake felt we had too many forwards. Now he’s gonna go back to having four again?
Yeah. Dave McKay said we were after a striker.
The plan at the start of the season was to go with a small squad but it's bitten us on the arse due to injuries, so they must've had a change of heart on the number of strikers we're running with.

There’s no point in us spending wages on a striker who is - at best - marginally better than the ones we already have.
We are looking to get more depth in the squad so I would say getting a championship level striker in the door isn't pointless. Its another option if we're going to keep losing players to injury.
There's also not a lot of choice in the January window.

Does anyone know if Dunfermline have any injuries? Their fans don't seem to be saying much about the matter
Jakubiak , Andy Tod, Breen, Matty Todd, Aaron Comrie, Benedictus and Kane Ritchie Hosler all out.Sam Fisher, Ewan Otoo and Lewis McCann should be back for us.

Rudden scored 12 for Falkirk in 31 games and scored 14 in 36 games for Partick in this division. Not bad return at this level. It's about as good as we can get in a January window.

Have Dunfermline fans found out that McPake is a pretty shite manager yet or are there still some believers out there?
Not sure why we would think he's shite. Got us promotion in his first season up against Falkirk for the title. Got us competitive in the league above despite the worst injury crisis possibly in the history of our club.
The team is well organised, the attacking set-up could do with some work but willing to give him time to sort that out.

You pars simpletons remember that we absolutely rinsed you out of the cup... and in every other time we've played this season?
Just watch out for your dodgy owners though.
They dropped Kelty like a stone when they lost interest there. History could well be repeated when there's a downturn in the garage convertion market.(bullshit)
The foundations that your owners have built are very shakey. All or nothing short term investment normally ends in tears.

Is that Rovers having a crowd w**k? Haha.
