  1. Good result for the Pars at Tannadice after 3 weeks off and half a first team missing.

Morton just going from strength to strength at the moment.

Pars have beaten Morton in both games this season but seems like we're up against a different beast this time.

Pars will still be short due to injuries again for this one, but hopefully a couple new signings before the game. Not sure if Morton are looking bring anybody in before the deadline but regardless they may well be bookies favourites for this one.

Think this will be close and predicting a 1-1 draw.

Looking back at it, Deniz and Edwards have got us that point. Some save and an equally brilliant block to get the clean sheet. Up until then I genuinely never felt threatened by United.

To Goodwin: yes, a team missing about 5 starters and not played in 3 weeks, whilst being on poor form, will celebrate a 0-0 draw away to the so-called Champions elite. What a banger of a man he is!

Always be remembered for the Darvel result. Can't believe he got the Dundee United job after that. Useless clown of a man.

Right! I’ve been fed and watered, ma best pal has been walked, ma two jobs that my wife wanted done have been sorted. I’m away in the shower, then going to pick the lads up, heading to Dundee to find a pub (I’m the designated driver so only one pint for me) doon to the game to roar the mighty Pars on.
safe travels fellow Pars fans, see ye all there

Quite like the Clep bar. True old school wee place on Clepington Road.

  4. Think folk need to chill out a bit.

Not saying that we should ignore the few (influential fan) murmers but the club are still actively trying to sign Premiership players.  I genuinely think there's fuk all to this. The owners could maybe cover our (alleged)loses quite easily? Could even be factored in as part of their long term plan.

  5. If folk in the know have concerns then I hope these concerns are put to the board and the board give some honest answers in return.

It gives me the fear a wee bit as it has an air history repeating itself before Masterton got outed.

I feel this academy is going to bring more problems than answers to be honest. It's sound s like a money pit, when we don't really have much money. This is a project that could've been started if we reached the Premiership and we were a bit better off financially. We need to get the first team in a better postion before pumping money into a youth academy. Bigger wealthier clubs in Scotland are not exactly producing a prodcution line of great talent from their academies. I'm sure they will have better funded,  further reaching set-ups than ours too.

We got rid of Todorov and O’Hara in the summer because McPake felt we had too many forwards. Now he’s gonna go back to having four again?

Yeah. Dave McKay said we were after a striker.

The plan at the start of the season was to go with a small squad but it's bitten us on the arse due to injuries, so they must've had a change of heart on the number of strikers we're running with.

There’s no point in us spending wages on a striker who is - at best - marginally better than the ones we already have.

We are looking to get more depth in the squad so I would say getting a championship level striker in the door isn't pointless. Its another option if we're going to keep losing players to injury.

There's also not a lot of choice in the January window.

Have Dunfermline fans found out that McPake is a pretty shite manager yet or are there still some believers out there?

Not sure why we would think he's shite. Got us promotion in his first season up against Falkirk for the title. Got us competitive in the league above despite the worst injury crisis possibly in the history of our club.

The team is well organised, the attacking set-up could do with some work but willing to give him time to sort that out.

You pars simpletons remember that we absolutely rinsed you out of the cup... and in every other time we've played this season?

Just watch out for your dodgy owners though.

They dropped Kelty like a stone when they lost interest there. History could well be repeated when there's a downturn in the garage convertion market.(bullshit)

The foundations that your owners have built are very shakey. All or nothing short term investment normally ends in tears.
