Yeah, left Jakubiak out due to thinking he wasn't ready to start. O'Halloran has been very poor from what I've seen. Apparently was the same for the 9 games games played for Cove Rangers last season.

Think Otoo is fine playing CB if it's the left of a back three but really got my doubts about him playing in a back four. Yeah. Not played the likes of Ayr, Morton,Arbroath etc.We've had a pretty difficult start of fixtures. ~Really need to sign strikers though.

We were screaming out for a Matty Todd against Rovers. His energy and goal threat from an attacking midfield position would've unsettled that Rovers defence a bit more than we did and offered more support to an isolated Wighton. We've been desperately unlucky with injuries this season. Think we will be a side to fear once our recuitment is completed and we have all of our top players back. Not seen anything in this division to be too worried about when we are at full strength.

Don't know much about Moffat must be decent to make the Celtic first team. With Moffat and Summers signing and KRH back, I'm not sure if the is room for Wotherspoon now. I would still take him as an option though.

Yeah. It's worked so far so can't complain. It's is a bit frustrating when you have deals bubbling in the background for ages. Like a lot of fans I tend to think with the heart than the head and want everything yesterday but deep down I know they are doing the best they can for the club.

Doesn't sound like anything was going to happen soon after listening to McPake's Thursday update. Never know though. Hopefully we bring in 4 kings and don't have to sell an Ace.

Meggle and Cook have a say in what players come in too. More a say with age and potential rather than identifying individuals I think. Not just trying to bring in the management teams targets.

There was an short interview in the Courier with Thomas Meggle. Can't remember fully but it was along the lines of the board having the final say but he was involved with the mangement team.

The strange part for me is how we have guys like Wotherpoon and Jakubiak hanging around the club, going to games, training with us. We all know they are easily good enough to play for us. Mumbongo has been hovering about the club for weeks too. Why is everything so strung out with players hanging about the club for weeks and not being signed? O'Halloran was the same.

Think it's end of September for loans and free agents? Like the Toun Clock says, the end of August window does seem to force deals over the line at our level due to Premier teams knowing who the want to let go.

Nipper Thompson was saying the other week that he had spoken to Toddy and a December / January return was most likely. If we can get Wotherspoon in the door, It will go a long way to replacing him as he's not going to be back any time soon.

He was a good impact sub. Seemed to have a knack of being in the right place for sniffing out a goal. I think his touch was poor and never looked at his best when starting games. I think the powers that be thought he was an expensive impact sub. Personally I thought it was the right decision to get him off the wage bill but many would disagree. Particularly now, as months later we've still not replaced him.

I think Jakubiak was quite popular at St Mirren when he was playing Premier League football but he signed for Dundee the summer after he was on loan there.

Just get him in the door. Need a bit of creative quality and experience going forward which was pretty evident on Saturday. If we could get him and Jakubiak in, then KRH making a return. Things could be looking a lot brighter in the forward areas.

Would've done better than Davie Hay or Stephen Kenny. Pars 95-98 teams would've caused some damage to the teams that put us out a decade later. We were quite unfortunate we lost Calderwood and some good players after 2004 and played Hafnarfjörður with an awful manager like Davie Hay. BK Haken we played after relegation to the first division. Strange times under Stephen Kenny.
