  1. Thought it was fairly obvious that MOH wasn't a great signing. Was willing to give the benefit of the doubt but he's done nothing but reinforce my initial thoughts.
  2. Yup, enjoy it bud. Rovers are miles ahead. Canny be bothered going through what's right and wrong with us. Would love to say we'll be back but we've been utter shite for over a decade at this level now. Without proper investment in ready made top end championship players I can see us being run into the ground and fighting relegation for the next couple years. Spending millions on an academy but running the first team squad down at the same time. The board have to wake up to what's going on here. Need stop thinking about investments by selling young players and start signing players capable of competing for promotion.. We should be aiming for the top division but the lack of hunger in the boardroom for an achievement like that is worrying.
  3. Paper thin squad. Play three at the back and have three centre backs in the squad(two injured). The strikers Wighton and Jakubiak are howling. Chalmers without the ball is a man down. Above that, I think we have some good young players on long contracts but the problem is the experienced players around them. No leadership outside of Bene. There's a serious lack of investment in ready made championship footballers. Guys like Chalmers, Comrie, Wighton, Jakubiak and Allan were shown up tonight. Way off it. There needs to be a bit of investment in good top end championship players the next couple of windows but unfortunately we have some amount of keech on 2-3 year deals now.
  4. Think Josh is good for where we are just now. But he will be replaceable . I'm not convinced he could play Premiership football.
  5. I think it was a confidence building thing regarding the Sharp comment. McPake has come out praising guys who have performed poorly in the past. He's probably seen that Sharp has been a bit low after his performance.
  6. Comrie was shocking against Ayr in that right centre back role. Hamilton is a far better option. If we recuited another experienced centre back then it wouldn't be an issue though. As I keep saying, we rely on Bene too much. A Euan Murray type signing would've been much better than given somebody like Breen a two year deal.
  7. Pars were more dominant first half than ICT were second half, so based on that and including hitting the woodwork 6 times, I would say we should've won that game. Pretty decent game to be fair. Inverness look a decent side and we again showed that we can mix it with anybody in this league. Our lack of scoring touch is holding us back though.
  8. Wotherspoon is a stick on to score. Bit pish that we have a situation where one experienced defender missing causes big problems for us. Hopefully do something about that in the window. Toothless forwards need rectified too. Probably take a point today.
  9. Thought we played fairly well. Not been much between us and the top two this season but continue to lose late goals against them. I think we are going to click at some point and start getting more points on the board. Harry Sharp needs sent back up the road. He pretty pish. Deniz didn't look much better tbf but would at least blocked a shot straight at him. Think Bene back in that back three along with getting Toddy and KRH up to speed will see us fine.
  10. Fisher is quality and will go on to bigger things. Wighton is a good footballer but just can't get involved for whatever reason. Jak is a better presence up top but poor finisher. Sharp will not play for us again unless Deniz get injured again. He'll be back at Dundee in January.
  11. Looking forward too this one. Pars are capable of going toe to toe with any team in this league but inexperience means we can be howling now and again. Sounds daft but I think we might win.
  12. Ridculous the amount of times Hamilton gets dropped. Should be a starter every week in our midfield. If we could get another centre back in the door, we can start playing guys like Hamilton in their proper position more often. Paul Allan is starting to prove his worth now too. Otoo, Hamilton and Allan all good options in the deep midfield. Chalmers not so much. Looks like the same slow half hearted midfielder from 2 years ago.
  13. I don't think the medical staff and management team are that daft that they would play a player who's not physically ready to play a match. It too simplistic to say folk are being brough back too early just because they pick up another injury on their return. I think it just rotten luck we are getting with injuries right now.
  14. Bene had a broken foot previously. If the foot has healed and he's been in training for a few weeks, then his current injury will be unrelated to coming back too quickly from the first injury. Just seems like really shyte luck this season. To compound that, it's generally our key players that have been out for the long term. If we can ease the injuries I think we will be fine. Also think we need to bring in a centre back in January. We play with three at the back and have only three natural centre backs. We are shuffling folk around the back line every week. Also think the drop off in organisation when Bene is out is too drastic. We need a more experienced guy in who can fill Bene's shoes when he's out.
  15. https://www.thecourier.co.uk/fp/sport/football/4800793/james-mcpake-hopes-to-have-two-long-term-dunfermline-absentees-available/ KRH and Matty Todd could be back for the Morton game. Massive for us having these two back soon.
  16. The games I've seen, Raith tend to convert 1 in 3 chances, where we get 7-8 chances and can't take any.
  17. St Johnstone manager saying a few of his players will never play for the club again. ..... Nicky Clark please.
  18. Only Jakubiak out that lot is a striker and couldn't hit a barn door. I'm not talking about attacking midfielders and wingers, Im talking about guys who put the ball in the net.
  19. We scored far fewer goals than Airdrie and Falkirk last year too. It nothing new with the lack of goals. It's ridiculous that this wasn't prioritised in the summer. I think we have some really good young players on long term deals but the experience that's guiding them are just not good enough. Wighton and Chalmers are struggling like they did in the relegation season. They are both good footballers when given time and space but they don't get that in this division. O'Halloran is not adding anything. Unfortunately these guys are tied up on two year deals. Another issue is the paper thin depth of squad whilst gaining injuries every week. The back three seems to be makeshift every week. We play 3 at the back but only have three centre halves. When you consider that Breen is injured or unfit pretty much all the time, it's incredible we have no real cover. Relying on midget rightbacks and central midfielders as cover. This team has some great potential but the lack of experienced championship quality players to help them is killing us.
  20. We've invested our cash in young players we can sell on. Raith have invested in trying to get to the Premier league. Unfortunately, I can't see anything other than a Raith win.
  21. Me on the wind up? You could see how bad he was? Clearly clueless
  22. Absolute disgrace of a first half. Every one of them. Rhys Breen comes back fat and completely unfit yet again. An overweight carthorse that should've been nowhere near that starting 11.
  23. Bench looks stronger than the Partick game at least. Fisher for Breen? Must be a fitness thing for Fisher. Bad game or not at Partick, he's a far better player than Breen.
