Airdrie are the form team in the league for the last wee while but McPake does seem to handle them better than most. We are also in form and I can see a narrow win either way in this one.

I would love to keep Kane but as said above, I personally think he could still play effectively in the top league. He's been a big help getting us up the league though and just need to appeciate him for the next 4 games. It will be be some drop off when he goes and we get Wighton back. I'm actually hoping to see Taylor Sutherland make a push for 1st team football next year. Scoring every week in the reserves and some nice finishes.

Really. I would've thought Kane has played longer at a higher level and achieved much more that Graham in his career.

Would rather have Chris Kane than Graham to be honest. Kane is an outstanding lone stiker at this level.

Good turn out from the Pars fans today. I know we normally announce tickets sold and it looks a bit daft when many don't turn up, but looked a healthy number of bums on seats today. 5500 is superb for a middling Championship side. More than Kilmarnock had today and they are flying in the top division.

His problem is that he's very slow. He unable to close down or do the dirty side of the game, which is required at this level. Hamilton and Otoo can do that and we are a much better team when they are in midfield. I do think he has been harshly treated today and a lot of that is due to him not being Chris Hamilton. I did feel a bit awkward when folk were cheering him off sarcastically. No need for that. McPake clearly wouldn't normally play the guy if Hamilton was fit.

He just not up to Championship level. It's too quick at this level for him. Good League 1 player.

What a difference having a midfielder who get stuck in makes. He and Hamilton are two of the best defensive midfielders in the league. You can see the drop off when either of them are out.

The ref when he played advantage for Chris Kane was weird. Kane gets past his man and makes his way to the 18 yard box, then the ref pulls the game back to the original foul????? Some baffling stuff that I just can't understand from the officials today. Such a poor standard.

Got to agree. Dunfermline is underrated. Great place to stay.

Thought the wind favoured each team when they had it. Think we deseved to win overall but not too downhearted with a draw. Hit the post twice and Moffat missed a golden chance near the end. Partick came close with McInroy too. Partick are well organised, as are Pars. Good game between two decent teams.

Kind of the way we have been winning last two games anyway.

Got to be taking 3 points today but I never feel confident about any match in this league. Last two games between the sides have been draws. We are a much better squad now mind you.

I had two last game up there before Christmas. Bloody delicious.

From they way I've seen them act in the directors box at East End this season , they have zero class. Wanting to fight folk and mouthing off during games. They seem to like spending there time trying to wind folk up and putting out embarrassing statements. Classless trash.

Aye tough game this one. Morton are direct and physical and that high press destroyed us at East End. We have much better options to combat that now though. Hammy and Otoo now in midfield will be up for a scrap. Bene is back now and won't get bullied. MFW has settled now and has been excellent last few weks. Wiles at right back is physical and a big upgrade on Benjamin, who played on the right of a back three that awful day. Also we now play a back four which is more solid than the back 3 we played back then. Regardless of our improvements, I would take a point in this one.

I don't think he is much a loss to be honest. Got natural ability but looks like a lost wee laddie. Hope he's not injured though.
