  1. Well done on your fantastic achievement. I'm sure you have made your family proud.
  2. The name James McPake swirling around the City tonight.
  3. I said McPake I thought the board might go for him due to age. Not my choice.
  4. Looking for someone with energy, enthusiasm and drive. Reads to me that they will go for a younger manager. Ian Murray, McPake or Thomson.
  5. The communication from the club is pathetic. A statement that told us nothing a week ago and now complete silence. They treat fans like shit. Happy to take money but offer bugger all in return.
  6. Beginning to think the board a stringing this out to allow the dust to settle and hope that fans initial anger subsides, before telling us that Hughes is staying but with a revamped backroom team.
  7. I have no faith in Hughes regardless of signings. Completely lost all confidence in him to make any use of them. His a stubborn old fart, that won't change his ways. He a slavering shite of a man. The thought of having to listen to his ramblings next season fill me with dread.
  8. It seems to the way with Pars management. Say one thing, then do the complete opposite. We got a statement of intent last Wednesday but zero action has been taken. Not sure how the hell they can't tell us if Hughes stays or not. The must bloody know by now.
  9. IMO he lacked composure and hunger. Most games he looked bright for the first few minutes but after that you forgot he was on the pitch. Quite a frustrating player. There's ability there but he just doesn't look motivated most the time. Still another year on his Pars deal, so I would imagine he will probably remain if he's not impressed.
  10. Thought Wighton would've made more of an impact. What was Arbroath fans thoughts?
  11. I would be happy to bring Ian Murray in. Better than the old schoool shite our board have been attracted to the last couple of appointments. Our new lean adaptable board are really backing up their words with absolutely zero action since relegation 9 days ago.
  12. Murray certainly has something as a manager. Did really well with Dumbarton a while back and now Airdrie. Took over both teams when they were shite. His teams seem to attack as well.
  13. Totally understand that, due to where we are now but I absolutely hated the shitebag tactics of Crawford. Thought we were a very boring side under him. What he achieved wasn't success in my eyes but what's proceeded him has made him look better.
  14. I know they will look a bit hire and fire if they sack Hughes but it their own fault. This is a good opportunity to get somebody in who is a popular choice with fans and get folk back on board. In all honesty, I don't think we will go right back up next season regardless who's in charge. If we brought in a manager that looked to attack and brought back a bit of excitement to East End, I would give them a bit more leeway. Crawford, Grant and Hughes have provided football that ranges between utterly boring to disorganised mess over the last 3-4 years.
  15. Ah well. Pick and choose my games next season. Always bought a ST to help the club but they're a bunch of fukin clowns. Not signing up for a year with that thick cunto in charge.
  16. If they keep Hughes then that midweek statement will join a long list of bizzare actions by our board. It was a damning assessment of the end to our season, showed no support for the manager and promised change. If the then keep one of the biggest problems at the club then it will be a complete piss take and insult to the fans.
  17. Had a season ticket for over 20 years. I'm out if that clown stays on.
  18. Only holds about 2000. Not big enough for Fife's biggest club.
  19. The brings in a right footed disaster zone to replace him. That was a sackable offence in it's self, then you add the paying a fee for Joe Chalmers. The guy was a failure in the transfer market, as previously predicted by fans of previous clubs he managed.
  20. If they were backing him, then they would've said so in that midweek statement. Surely all the changes they identified and said we must make, along with a full review into the football structure of the club is not going to find that Yogi is the man to take us forward. There nothing about his time here that would make anybody think he's worth persevering with.
