  1. Well, I see your point. That could be the case until T,T&T is fully operational . Look, rather than just witter away in despair, I’m just trying to find a way forward. Mind you, I do think the whole thing is a bit overblown, but, hey, I’m in a minority of one on that.
  2. BfL will be getting shares in exchange for their donations. Agreed with Gary Deans.
  3. You need to apply in arrears after having paid the wages, weekly or monthly. That’s what I need to do.
  4. Absolutely, and can I urge fans to join Bairnforlife.
  5. Here’s a plan for getting football going again, based on the facts as we have them. The chances of death for those catching the virus up to the age of 70 is very slight unless the person has diabetes and/or is obese(certainly plenty of them). Most of the deaths are to those in care homes or those aged 70 plus. I think we can assume that if you are in a care home, it is most unlikely that you attend matches. Everyone over 70 will, for the time being, be banned from games but will be allowed to watch games on TV despite residing in the UK. Surely some kind of version of this would work?
  6. Just goes to show how rubbish this virus policy is. Have any footballers died yet?
  7. Such as? On the football side, they have some excellent reporters including our own Brian Marjoribankd
  8. Just a thought - why don’t you show it to your parents and get their opinion?
  9. I agree with you. What he said was disgusting.
  10. I much prefer the all navy blue strip without any adornments. Real true blue!
  11. I see that the former Aberdeen CEO, Keith Wyness reckons that after the virus has passed, that Scottish football will be reduced to 2 leagues as many clubs will not survive. I wouldn’t bet against him being correct.
  12. Straightforward question to a disgusting post.
  13. God, that is horrible. Are you a homosexual?
  14. You forget to mention that within the figure of 50000 extra deaths, 10000 of those were extra non- Covid deaths due to lack of normal NHS treatment being available. This figure will continue to increase whilst the Covid deaths will decrease. It is too early to come to a definitive conclusion but Prof Spiegelhaler, the statistician reckons that the 10000 will increase dramatically. If that figure ends up greater than the Covid deaths then I would say that trashing the economy has been counter productive. IMO, the way to go is the Swedish way, which is something of a half way house.
  15. Fortunately, unlike you, I only mingle with like minded people.
  16. No need to belittle yourself by using abuse. your arguments make no sense.
  17. Absolute nonsense. At what level do you consider it reasonable to restart the economy and normal life and avoid millions of bankruptcies and job losses. Do you think Churchill and Eisenhower considered abondoning WW2 because the Allies would lose thousands of lives? You always have to consider the alternatives. No course of action is risk free and, in this case, I consider the risks to be worth the benefits. You obviously think differently but that’s your call.
  18. Well, that’s their tough luck. Its up to everyone to come to their own conclusion. My wife and I have looked at the stats and we do not adhere to the regulations. Enough said, I think.
  19. Regarding parents, in that age group, the risk is minimal. Grandparents - yes there is a risk but, in my opinion, not big enough to stop professional sport. Look at the ONS statistics, and you will see that, by and large, this is a disease that kills the old and informed and those with underlying diseases. It is not a disease of the young and middle aged. Since the outbreak there have been 10000 EXTRA deaths of a non Covid nature due to lack of NHS treatment being available. Check the stats.
