Latapy went on to be the best I’ve ever seen in a Falkirk jersey and I doubt I’ll ever see anyone surpass him, but if my memory serves me right, his first season amongst shite at Ochilview was far from convincing. A few moments of genius for sure, but it was during his second season when he really started to shine. Let’s just give Griffiths a chance ffs. Would his performances to date have as many critics if his name was Lee Miller? A man who knows all about downing tools!

Depends on who the individuals are that you think are guilty of revisionism. Given we’re joint 5th highest goalscorers in Scotland’s third tier alongside Dumbarton, at no point this season have I accepted that scoring goals wasn't our biggest issue. Anyone who has actually watched the three games Griffiths has been involved in couldn’t possibly criticise him for a lack of goals or even effort for that matter. That’s why I’m defending him. No contradiction from me whatsoever. Comparing one of the best goalscorers in Scottish football for many a year with Jaime Wilson and Sammy Ompreon is absolutely fkn mental. You’re just waffling a lot of pish now. He cannot be judged on one clear cut chance against Peterhead, because unlike the other two, his track record speaks for itself. He cannot influence a game if he doesn’t have the ball. Forgive me for thinking that 6 new signings and a new manager might have brought about an improvement in our style of football and the number of chances we create. However, the fact that it remains poor is most certainly not the fault of Leigh Griffiths. That lies at Rennie’s door.

Are you at the wind up? He’s had approximately two hours of football spread across three games and he’s barely had a fkn sniff. Two free kicks from distance and the odd scrap to work with does not constitute having the ball. He was unlucky with a shot he pulled just wide against Peterhead but other than that, he’s been starved of service. Totally agree. Not for a second am I suggesting he’s the solution to all our problems, but it’s fucking nonsense that Rennie doesn’t register Kenny Miller as a player given our lack of options. Costs us nothing and you’d get 25/30mins out of him no bother. Tells you everything about our (lack of) transfer dealings that I’m even suggesting this. Pish poor.

Coincidence or not, are the resignations a bad thing? Also, you mention the working groups have been “hand picked by board members”. How do you know this, have the names of those on the working groups been published somewhere?

I should think so too. Even if we were only to get 60 mins out of him each week, he’d still be a substantially better option than any of the dross we currently have at the Club.

I’m genuinely not adverse to Miller giving us at least 60mins a game in this league.

F*ck it, if we’re seriously suggesting that we talk to Jack Ross, then let’s also make sure we’re considering Derek McInnes and Craig Levein as well. All three are as ludicrously unlikely as each other but are on a completely different level to the horseshit appearing on that McBookie list. We absolutely have to aim higher than that. If money is available in January, I hope it’s put towards a new manager. Over the past few seasons we’ve had squads that, certainly on paper, should be capable of achieving much more than they have done. I include the current crop in that. Unfortunately our last three managers simply haven't been good enough to get the best out of these squads. I’m not convinced being a League 1 Club will automatically be a stumbling block for some. If the package is right, any manager worth their salt will have the belief that they can turn our fortunes around fairly quickly and in doing so, raise their own profile. The next appointment should tell us just how serious the Club is about getting out of this league and furthermore, back to the top flight.

We’re not fully there yet. Holt needs to be shown the door along with that poisonous p***k Thomson as a matter of urgency. I’ll be completely satisfied when Superfan and Ritchie finally get to f*ck but I’m prepared to be a bit more patient on that front. That all said, tonight is a good night. The weight I’ve been carrying on my shoulders for the past 2 and a half years has just gotten a whole lot lighter! Well done and thank you to the patrons for such hard work and perseverance.
