What's the deal with Gallagher Lennon? Playing for St Mirren tonight as a trialist (I think), have we punted him? Do we get a development fee if St Mirren sign him? Is it just like when we sold Cooper to Rangers?

I was thinking exactly this when Sneddon went down holding his knee in the first-half last night. I'd love for us to bring in someone to genuinely push Sneddon for a place, but more than likely it'll be someone in the youth ranks at the OF on an emergency.

Was quite surprised he wasn't sent off for the lunge/tackle towards the end of the game.

I'm wondering that myself. We kept getting the usual "he's struggled to adjust to full-time" pish, and never impressed when he did get minutes. Was hoping he'd have a good season with you and kick on back with us. Wouldn't be surprised if he was punted next summer.

I must admit the more I've thought about it, I feel like it's no huge loss. I'd completely forgotten about McCall saying he had "one good season left in him" when we resigned him last time.

Thistle release Joe Cardle. Must have got a better offer elsewhere, don't see why we'd get rid of him otherwise.

Thistle released a few of our "Development Squad" (whatever the f**k that means), Andy Rodden, Bradley Renfrew, Luke Scullion and Dean Watson. Rodden and Watson could/will do a job in this league.

That's us released a few from the development squad; Rodden, Renfrew, Scullion and Watson. Surprised to see Rodden and Watson go as they seemed poised to be involved (in some way) next year, the other two I wouldn't recognise if they walked passed me in the street.

Have we got any idea about who has been offered a new deal, or is the ruling on it has changed due to the constant change of our season? As far as I can tell from the clubs website, Sneddon, Foster, Penrice, Williamson, Cardle, Gordon & Reilly (f**k knows what happened to him btw) are all out of contract at the end of the season meaning we'd only be left with 10 first team players plus a handful of youth players (Ocholi, Rodden, Lyon, McCready are the ones that come to mind). Outside of Cardle I'm not bothered about any of them leaving, would just be nice to know either way.
