My son and I have season tickets. We both think this is brilliant from the board. Surely any initiative that helps encourage people who maybe couldn't afford to go to many games come along and help potentially grow the support of the club must be applauded.

Just read the Chris Kane article in the Courier and it says Craig Wighton is out for the remainder of the season with a knee injury. Having watched the Rovers with similar injury issues last season, i really feel for you guys. Probably going to get some stick for saying this but i hope you don't go down this season as if we fail to go up, i'd really like yourselves and ( if they don't do a spectacular bottle job ) Falkirk in the same league next season.

Obviously would have liked him to stay rather than go to another team in the same league but feel that he would have been used as cover given the imminent return of Watson to the fold. We saw he wasn't in Ian Murrays long term plans given the fact he was only offered a deal to the end of the season and after the Partick game, he was dropped in favour of Brown only to return due to moving Brown back to midfield after Stantons injury. One thing that i will say though is i have every confidence that Ian Murray and John Potter will have been working behind the scenes for this eventuality and trust them to do whats best for this club going forward. It's not like during John Mcglynns tenure where we seemed to sign players for the sake of it to make up numbers.

It's a bit of a stretch to blame Murray for the goal when there's no danger when the initial ball comes in. Millen knocks it over his own head and Mullen must have had his eyes shut when he went up as he totally misses the ball. When i played many many moons ago, i was always taught if in doubt, put it out. Millen should take most of the blame as he could have put it out for a corner or throw in instead of a half hearted over head kick when he doesn't know who's behind him.

Sometimes you have to hold your hands up and say you were beaten by the better team. We could still be playing now and wouldn't have scored. I'm just disappointed that Utd have faltered and we've not taken advantage again.

I'm sorry, your fanbase can continue to slag us for signing a rapist as long as you want but to say that it was endorsed by a sizeable number of fans is ridiculous nonsense. The vast amount of Raith supporters over various social media channels were disgusted by the signing and vowed not to return to the club while he was here. The reaction of the supporters and resignation of multiple people within the club spectrum meant this filth never stepped foot on the pitch for us.

That's crazy. Some of the nicest guys around. Really puts a bit of a dampener on a great result.

Anyone could make a figure up out of thin air and claim to be in the know. Truth is nobody knows apart from the people within the club.

The 18 year old was signed as cover due to injuries/ suspensions. He's been on the bench and used sparingly as he's not ready for this level yet. Surely if we're throwing cash around as you claim, we'd have went out and signed an experienced player to cover that position instead no? If we're splashing cash, we wouldn't have lost Jamie Macdonald due to asking him to take a pay cut, lost out to George Stanger to Ayr United ( allegedly ) nor lost Tam Lang and Brad Spencer to Falkirk for more money but aye, we're splashing the cash. Edited to add: I'd love to know exactly who we're splashing the cash on... One striker from Livingston, A goalie freed from Hibs and a load of Championship/ league one players.

You're absolutely wasting your time trying to discuss anything with Pars fans. They're akin to Old Firm supporters that they get an idea in their heads and its absolute gospel, they'll continue to spout the same crap over and over despite info to the contrary. It's fantastic to see a young local lad being given a chance, It's even better when he's a Rovers fan too. Delighted for the boy and hope he goes on to be a first team regular in the not too distant future.

Deja vu from last season with people losing their heads over incoming players. We've had some fantastic signings so far from the new owners and I'm sure we'll be close to some more. Have a bit of patience.

Seen a few people mentioning this. Thought McGill looked a bit off it at the start of the match but just got better and better as the game went on. IMO it would be harsh to drop him for Millen. Let Millen take his time and come back from Injury when we have the Luxury of McGill and Masson able to play the same position.

The Queens penalty reminds me of a similar one in the mid 90's V St Johnstone where Shaun Dennis slid in the box and it hit his arm. All these years later and I'm still unsure as how you can slide tackle with your arms by your side
