  1. I really hope the club is looking at the backlash this morning and ripping up any contract which was written
  2. Even with the racist stuff aside, he hasn't managed a team since 2015. Genuinely baffling, if true.
  3. Can you guys just pretend to hire Malky Mackay? Please? Just until this whole us not having a manager thing blows over
  4. If it is one of the names on your list, I'll finally forgive you for your Top 50 Most Hated Players thread
  5. I think with what happened with Ketts, he will have learnt his lesson. Ketts was never meant to be in the hotseat so soon, Coyle was meant to be with us for longer and after a few years, step aside. Which we can do with Cowie, but we need the manager in before to be someone decent, so we dont end up with the Coyle scenario again. And this, this does not fill me with confidence.
  6. McCann did well in his recruitment in his 1st season at Dundee which is a big thing we need rn. I wouldnt hate it and tbh I dont know who I would rather instead.
  7. We aren't usually a club that hangs about with the hiring decision which is handy considering we have 7 players on our books for next year and I would imagine the rest are out of contract as of the end of the week. We need a good appointment quickly. I have all the fear
  8. Club statement very much reads like Yogi said "Thanks, but no thanks." Imagine he'll be announced in another job next week. Slightly disappointed he's leaving, but that is mainly down to the fact that I have no confidence in us appointing someone more equipped. Prove me wrong, Roy! Overall, the John Hughes Experiment has to be seen as a positive one so thanks for the memories, but don't come back too soon. I have a terrible feeling Don Cowie will be in charge next year and we are just going to continue ruining our memories of ex-players.
  9. Oh, so the same problem we've had for the last 5 years?
  10. Don't see him being with us next year even if we did offer a deal. If we can keep him though, brilliant
  11. I think Yogi has definitely done enough since Christmas to give him an opportunity to try something with us next season. Would hope we bring in a DOF above him though and have a group of Yogi, Fergie and the DOF identifying transfer targets for the summer. I believe we have 6 first team players under contract (Donaldson, Grivosti, Iacovitti, Charles-Cook, Shaw & White) so there's plenty scope for change. Would offer Laidlaw and Midge a new deal. And maybe Vigurs but otherwise, a full clearout wouldn't be harsh on anyone else IMHO. Hope we get answers in the next week on contract situations etc as we could really do with getting the squad for next season sorted sooner rather than later as it could be (and hopefully will be) largely a new group of players.
  12. Happy retirement, Carl! Get Kelly to f**k. Also, get Vigurs off before he's sent off. Shaw and Paton on. Need to go for it now really.
  13. If you'd have told me that we will go into the last day just needing a point to finish 10th a few weeks ago, I'd have snapped your hand off for it. If we win, it'll be the first time we have won 3 league games on the trot since March 2019 and for the first time in the top flight since April 2015. I feel confident Accies will take something at Killie but will still be very nervous about this game. This County team has been utterly impossible to predict what will happen week to week. If we stay up, I wouldn't be fully against Yogi staying and building a new team, as if we had kept Ketts, we'd have been relegated weeks ago
  14. Going to a beer garden all day and missing a County victory is absolutely the best way today could have gone
  15. Technically, no. But if we get nothing from this game & Killie win at Motherwell, it'll leave us 5 points adrift of 10th with 6 to play for. I'm honestly beyond caring. So no doubt we will get at least a point to give us hope. Jordan White needs dropped, Paton and Shaw need to start & we need to find a new defender from somewhere cause I've lost confidence in all of our centre backs. I really wouldn't hate there being 6/7+ changes and a new shape just to try and get a tune out of this awful squad.
  16. We've beaten Celtic twice this season and we can't beat St Mirren. It's such a task watching us at all just now. Glad there's another 10 days before I have to put myself through it again (in the unlikely case I buy the game again) The playoffs are just going to make this season longer and shiter, aren't they? Been a good few years since I've felt so disconnected with the team. Hopefully, we get a massive squad rejig in the summer and we can get a team we actually like seeing on the pitch next year.
  17. Good to see St Mirren join the "Relegate Hamilton Accies" train
  18. With Hamilton losing, it's an opportunity missed rather than ground lost. Worst 1st half we've played in 2021, the worst officiating performance I've seen in a while and how Jordan White lasted the 90 minutes is beyond me. 6 game shootout to avoid the bottom and we are starting in the strongest position. I'm still confident we will finish 10th
  19. Oh, but the officiating in this game has been absolutely shocking
  20. This is almost like last week but we are actually taking our chances. I am fully on board the Yogi Hughes Experience.
  21. The way we conceded that goal is fucking infuriating. Whole team caring more about a contentious handball than trying to get rid of the ball. Play to the whistle, for f**k sake
  22. Coll Donaldson is that much of a bombscare I think the Americans might invade Dingwall
  23. Was only his 3rd game in caretaker charge. And they actually won every other game that season under Lennon!
