  1. Hibs play County twice in a 11 day period in March. Looking at Hibs matches before then, they will likely be 6-10 points clear. If County can come out of that with 4 or 6 points, Hibs are certainly in the playoff conversation going into the split. County aren't a million miles away from getting something going & if we can, it'll make what's looking like it's going to be a relatively predictable relegation fight, somewhat competitive
  2. Tuesday night is massive. But I don't think the performance yesterday (going by the highlights) was as disappointing as the game at Livi albeit with a worse result. Generally, the performances are improved & I still have hope we will manage to avoid the playoffs (think Livi are doomed but will wait till after the game later in the month to make a more definite decision on that). The Adams appointment definitely hasn't gone as planned but the Malky sacking was still the right decision, just maybe made at an odd time.
  3. Maybe I'm being harsh on him. Wouldn't hate seeing Harmon starting for CBJ on Saturday. He looks like he needs a rest.
  4. Thought both full backs were burst and lucky not to be hooked. I like Brown but both today and Saturday he gets beaten too much for pace. For the game as a whole, I don't think I've ever been to a worse 2-2. Said before it was a must not lose and not a must win. But always disappointed not to see a game out. Was obvious when Livi got the equaliser which team was more desperate for the win & as long as we can maintain the gap going into the spilt, I suspect we will be fine. Won't stop plenty calling for Adams head again already. Makes St Johnstone a bigger game than it was as we really need to beat them to reel them in. If we play like tonight, no chance. If we play like Saturday, we'll win 2-0. Defense really need to get some time to gel cause there's definite lack of communication between them at times. King, Loturi & Kehla are too similar. Get Loturi dropped for a game or 2 and actually start Sims or hopefully sign a winger to start on Saturday. One area we are still really lacking in.
  5. This is the start of a 3 game run that will define the rest of our season. Absolutely falls into the must not lose category rather than must win. If Dhanda is gonna leave this window, I hope he puts in a display to remember him by on the way off. Liked the look of the loanees on Saturday and suspect they'll all start again. Given the hectic nature of the next few weeks however, some rotation may be forced. Probably gonna head through to it. Is that small window that sells tickets still there? 2-0 County. Dhanda double
  6. Adams also saying on the radio after the game today that he's looking to maybe get a couple others in. Given there's no more loans allowed, they'd have to be permanent deals
  7. 90% of the fans on Adams back Ground we have never won at in the league Celtic fans relatively content I've never been so sure of a 1-0 County win
  8. I didn't read it as that. I read it as there were issues at the club that he didn't expect. He answers "Yeah, you've got to look at that" in the same way he says Yes before any answer he seems to give in a press conference. Robbo said similar on the BBC midseason podcast, it's an awful time for a camera to be shoved in your face and everything you say to be scrutinized to such a high degree. I wouldn't hate the club giving Cowie interview duties for the foreseeable just to take the heat off Derek a bit. It's not helping anyone ATM even if he says anything positive
  9. Has he though? Or are we all just speculating that through the lack of information? In all honesty, I expected a lot more outs in the last couple weeks from the rumours flying about which never came to fruition. If anything, Murray's interview above makes it sound like they all are behind him He's not singled out any player to throw them under the bus. He's been honest and said they aren't playing well. Anyone can see that, would you rather we get the Malky shite of "on another day, we win that game blah blah" & nothing changes? I'm quite happy having a manager open to tell the truth after a game & if the performances aren't inspiring, I'm not expecting him to come out after and be happy about it. He's 8 weeks into a job and (until yesterday) had been working with players signed before he arrived. He can't be held fully accountable for that
  10. Am I missing something? I understand other team's fans looking at Adams and thinking "What a twat" but I don't understand how our fans have turned on him so quickly? 9 of the players that played yesterday were Malky signings. 1 of the 2 Adams signings was likely down to Laidlaw being rested in the cup as seems to be what a lot of clubs do in the Cup now. Adams clearly doesn't have the budget to do a full reset this window due to what was spent in the summer so he's utilising the loan market to get players in until then and there is absolutely no evidence we would be in a better spot under anyone else. Yes, his post match interviews are a bit polarising and what he says isn't going to please anyone, but what's actually incorrect in any of what he's said? We have been shite and underperforming and the players should know that too. His comments about "regretting" aren't actually his words. He's agreed with the interviewer that there are basics which need sorted which he didn't expect. That could be absolutely anything and kinda stands to other people's points about the club being poorly run. People have short memories & the fact we have been a top flight side for most of the last decade seems to have blurred the expectations of a manager who has given us some of the best days in our history coming back and needing to rebuild what anyone could see was a poor and unbalanced squad. The fact Alex Samuel leaving is getting slated is baffling. The only bit I don't like about it is where he's gone!
  11. Turner being away (but only on loan) makes sense if Dhanda is staying till the summer. Trying to fit them both in a system didn't seem to work for Malky or Adams. There's definitely a player there, just hasn't quite worked this season. Hopefully he has an excellent 6 months at Raith and comes back firing on all cylinders with us next season or we get some money for him in the summer. That's 3 out now so surely we can't expect some ins soon.
  12. If we beat Hibs, he's a genius. If we lose, all the pressure is on him and not the players. Only just got to listen to the full rant now (had seen the condensed version on Sportscene) and interesting that he specifically says about players leaving in January. He's probably already got a list that he wants out the door
  13. Roy wanted a "Fergie like" character and that's what Adams is. Makes it us against the world. He'll build a siege mentality. He's getting exactly what he wanted from what he said
  14. 75% of what he said was correct. Was the game yesterday pish? Yes. Do our players need to be better when they get into good positions? Yes. Did we have enough of the play to win the game with a bit more composure and skill? Yes. Is our squad expensively assembled and relatively poor? Yes. Okay, he went a bit over the top on Scottish Football as a whole (although it is a poor top flight this year as shown by most teams fans being unhappy with their team) and his Morecambe team being 100X better but it's classic Adams. I'm sure Roy knew what he was signing up for
  15. Yesterday, they were. It's not like this is out of character for him. He's got everyone speaking about Ross County until the next big story & it's not often that happens. I much prefer that to what MacKay would have said yesterday which would have been that we were good and if we carry on playing that way, we'll be fine. Which is pish.
  16. Adams is getting exactly the reaction he wanted from everyone from his interview and it's fantastic to see. Either that, or he's genuinely lost the plot & I'm here for that too. Pretty sure his subs of taking Dhanda off and separately putting on a not yet fully fit Brophy are points to Roy that he's gonna need a blank chequebook in January, as well as a lot of players being on the chopping block. Whatever does happen, Adams is gonna make it box office and I'm still 100x happier than if MacKay was still there. As for the game, I was ready to say it was one I won't remember with 95 minutes on the clock. Lost the ball in good areas a lot and couldn't take chances when we had them. Annoying to lose the goal especially in the fashion we did but that's football. Hopefully we can pick up a few more points before the window (looks tough with our fixture list) & we can see what Adams is gonna do with the squad, other than signing Yann Songo'o
  17. I knew whenever he got sacked I was gonna be delighted. I didn't realise quite how happy I was going to be. Honestly, can't believe it's finally over.
  18. Managed to get a stream from around the half hour mark today. I don't think we were much better today than we were against Motherwell. Killie are just much worse at defending. 3-5-2 feels like it suits the team better. Glad to be wrong about Kenneh after last week. Interested to see what we manage to do midweek against an average (despite the result today) Hibs side
  19. Another 6 pointer I fully expect to end in a draw and Malky to say "I can't believe we haven't won" after
  20. Just get him gone. If the on pitch stuff wasn't enough, surely rejecting £100k for Jordan White has to be the last straw. Not beating a team that hasn't won at home since August, quickly followed by failing to beat a team who are bottom of the Championship and almost certainly will get relegated is totally disgraceful. No new ideas, no idea where a win is coming from and we've now left it too late to get a manager in who can make their own signings. At least the Championship should be fun and we can put this whole horrible experiment behind us. Hopefully Don manages to do what Ketts did, but can also translate it into success the following seasons too.
  21. Drop him off on the way to Hamilton and pick up the massive suitcase of cash please.
  22. Can whoever loses this game just stop playing until August? Cannot see us getting out of this mess unless we somehow pull 3 points out of this one. Will likely head along but I cant bring myself to buy a ticket. Totally scunnered with this team. Could replace the entire squad and can't say there is any who I would miss massively. Sooner this season ends, Don Cowie takes over, we can pretend its 2018 again and go win the Championship under an ex-player, the better.
  23. With the total slagging he's getting and the correlation usually between that and how well a rubbish player does straight away when he moves up here, I'm expecting 15 goals by Christmas and then we never get a tune out of him again
  24. Signing unknown players that we can all get excited about must be one of the best feelings in football and boy, have I missed it!
