No point yous continuing to punt the ball up to Niven and little against us especially with 1 striker. Boys being played out of position for yous constantly which is baffling. We weren’t great and didn’t need to work for our goals. Wee boy up top should pass and we go down the other end and score from it.

Thought Talbot started really good in the first 20 minutes there players in the attacking third were excellent. Then weirdly After that they just boot it up the park again Niven and little who are both 6ft 4 Atleast . Bankies then dug in without being brilliant but we’re never under any real pressure. Worst I’ve seen Talbot defensively as a team in many a seasons. I know there’s a few on here that give the left back criticism but i think it’s justified after seeing that last night ..

Do yous feel this has lost its importance ??This use to be a massive tournament seems to have lost its importance over the recent years. Do teams still take this seriously as other competitions like Scottish cup and league . Likes of talbot and pollok with the size of squads they have do they give the lads who haven’t been playing a game ? Would love to see us go full strength and try to win it.

Who’s turned down new deals ? I would take any of that squad at the bankies
