  1. Took this in after old firm, 2 quality ek goals and 2 scrappy goals from Tranent but overall not best game. Yous do concede some amount of poor goals. Was sat no far from ek bench some of the shouts at the side are horrific especially from ferry.

EK are absolutely taking the piss now. Cant believe im saying this but the Lowland League needs some form of FFP. Siging a player that has played in European competitions this season is a farce

Thrown out last club for failed drug test

Agree another excellent 3 points. If Linlithgow had gone in 2-0 at HT  would have been fair . As well as saved penalty ( tbf very poor effort) had goal chalked off for offside( tight at best) and a top drawer save from Chris Truesdale, 1-0 kept EK in game.

Second half much better. As ever stuck to game plan, playing out from back. No matter opposition,  Including Accies on Saturday, we get out 90% + times and the odd scare absolutely worth the reward.  Problem tonight was losing ball in final third and getting caught on the break. Substitutions secured the game after another worldy from Flanny.

Sorry but big Allan MacKennzie up front will just not do. When Keir Samson and Scott Ferguson came on, threatened more immediately, including winner for Scott.

Last word about the goalie,  deserves a medal for playing through pain in last two games and tonight was the difference.

Mk and mckenzie are good m8’s

The equivalent of playing Champ Man in 98/99 and giving yourself £100m.

I think I could win the league with this sort of money but let’s hope like Darvel they fall flat on their face at some point.

True but not a good way to treat players . On moaning about a striker being suspended and trying to get another one in because of this even though it would have been for a game, they’ve other ones at the club it’s just the wrong way to air it online, if your they other players you must be wondering wtf is going on. I’m not sure how it will pan out this season. The weekend on twitter for MK didn’t help

Good morning to you too. Great watch, contrasting styles to say the least, tho we did play more channel balls than usual. Having 3 central midfield injured, plus losing Callum Biggar early doors played it's part. More than happy we stuck with our style, creates so much space out wide and our wingers gave your defence a torrid time.

Know you had mega injury list too, as do most teams after such a congested start to season. Early September and just over a quarter of games played, big shout to Kenny for keeping the fixtures like that. We get benefit when the weather turns.

Good point under all the circumstances,  doubt we will get many harder games,  were pushed all the way last night. Only gripe is we need pull the trigger sooner,  should have gone 3-1 up right  before your second.  Hit the bar after pass the parcel in the box.

Next  3 games are cup ties, hope gives injured players a chance to recover.

Boy ferry on podcasting talking about signing players again bit of a smack in the face for the boys that are playing there the now trying their hardest. Maybe start giving your own players a bit of praise

I would hope Talbot are looking at the likes of  McGowan & Truesdale from Darvel. I'd take Jamie Glasgow back as well.

Sideserfs left Pollok and he's a decent left back.

Sewell from Largs is the sort of striker Talbot need a proven goalscorer.

Think you’re being harsh on a few boys, there is boys at Talbot that get +20 a season easy. I would say your full backs are the main priority

Gifting teams goals every week. Another penalty today out of pure stupidity, individual mistakes teams don’t need to work for goals. Boys out of position most weeks and went away from a front 2 to playing 1 upfront and I heard today at the side one player missed todays game for a fishing trip sums us up atm

Talbot have always been blessed with 2 strikers that cause havoc. Yous had G Wilson and Samson as a pair for a period of around 2 year not long ago there that were exceptional together, I don’t watch Talbot very often but seeing highlights looks like he doesn’t play a front 2 . Tucker seemed to change this to a 4-5-1 anytime I’ve seen Talbot this year. That’s 2 games against us in a matter of weeks yous have 1 striker against 2x 6ft 5 centre backs and strikers playing in midfield very weird. From an outsider I’d say a few a left back is a priority for yous
