It’s not bo’ness united place to speak about ground development surely that be NPA unless BU feel aggrieved about something.
-
See if the key issue regard other parties as a commented on other posts could bo’ness united no invite these other parties to explain ideas so members have a balanced view going forward or is there something to hide. Just with folks points in here
-
Be a shock to many BU supporters staring at the future tomorrow as in football pitch might change people’s minds might change he haw lol
-
No this year there at Little kerse winter training so be a Braw penny down there
-
What does lithgi pay to train on Astro at Linlithgow ? Won’t be peanuts
-
I'm not sure if the BUs could legally own the park hence the NPA who still don't own the park but hold it in trust the same as others before them. So NPA don’t own newtown park but hold in trust as a community asset to be used by public and bo’nesx United a like
-
Ha ha I know but just imagine ....
-
We all know how it came about but thanks for history lesson so at start the park didn’t belong to NPA either so if bo’ness united committee had vision they could have got ground for themselves and do what NPA are doing instead of NPA being land lords. again that’s then thus us now just a trick missed. i completely understand venture needs dedicated people to drive it and is not a 5 minute job, maybe you should get involved
-
He didn't say it was the best, he said it was one of the finest. My apologies thanks For pointing that out John
-
I understand all that work took place but I wouldn’t class that as recent work would you ? I think over 10 year on roof is it not understand what your saying on revenue with huts but surely better planning when working to get huts in place NPA is a great idea but why did BU as a club not take control of this situation and be no need for bu to become a lodger at place they used to rule pitch it’s not best in Scotland you’re deluded if you think it is . Anyway merry Christmas
-
I tip my hat to any volunteer who gives up time to look after newtown especially guys I knew personally who looked after at never be forgotten but this is now and not then do you think it’s as good as it used to be .
-
Of course, what this would also highlight is the insanity of two teams from the same town playing at the same ground competiting in two seperate league systems where it's unlikely they'd ever play each other. Bonkers. How bonkers ? The new facility is not just for bo’ness united seniors if it was there would actually be no new facility just a bit grass and a crumbling football ground with more cabins than sibcas lol
-
Correct
-
I would believe an agreement to be in place between all parties to make sure bo’ness united were shown respect due, unless bo’ness united have no desire to keep improving club going forward
-
NPA have an agreement in place with bo’ness united senior they get preference on pitch on a Saturday afternoon at home but when away that let becomes Free to any team
-
No amateur team will go under 20’s each year having to rebuild majority of team especially when BUCFC run teams from mini kickers to under 19’s. You then have amateur teams BUCFC amateurs and cadora hen the senior team who should be leading a charge into lowland league with any ambition.
-
Its end of March BU have spoke with NPA and written guarantees made by BU to stick to date
-
Thats correct bo’ness 98’s were a fantastic team and under guidance of thistle have improved and will continue to if junior chance is given that gives Bo’ness a fantastic opportunity too
-
Yeah your right
-
Pass
-
No they don’t have a Under 20’s but majority of thistle team is bo’ness boys and a few at younger age played in bo’ness a few of these players have turned out for bo’ness when alan mcgonigal was manager a very strong bo’ness connection run by a bo’ness man who knows his stuff
-
I think 31st March work will start on pitch. No sure on update on funds needed that’s NPA who own park. Believe majority of above football is in place via BUCFC or will be very soon
-
Dave well done a man that might have the vision on potential of hub at newtown if anybody ever in doubt of work that could be achieved speak to members of BUCFC. I know a few supporters of BU and united club were along at murries in summer and my contact says it’s impressive set up which has potential to support BU
-
U20 team in the EofS League will do that. Next logical step for the BUs Yes probably right an under 20 team be good IF BU Persue this haven’t so far and no movement to do so
-
If any truth in rumour and truth in it surely all parties will have ironed out any issues you guys are talking about i heard rumour in bo’ness its definate December the man in imaginary red suit be here soon lol
