  1. Sitting close to the dugouts on sat and Naysmith looked enthusiastic, had a bit of charisma and was constantly talking and coaching his players, certainly cant be overlooked, although in the short term with the players we have I think Hopkin would suit best for this squad given the proximity to the deadline there cant be a lot of movement transfer wise and his style of play last season would suit our big centre halfs and forwards if he can motivate them to be a team and fight. Big ifs though
  2. If Miller is appointed, I certainly wont be attending any further games until next season when we are in the second division and the board are holding up a banner apologising to the fans for what can only be described as the most ridiculous appointment in our history.
  3. I don't think its too early to be panicking. We have been fed by the club the biggest budget and academy money patter, and signed a lot of players who based on what I have seen are in now way capable of winning this league. Genuinely makes me worry for the club going forward and that's not been the case in previous years where I have always held that hope that this is our year. Not for one second saying I know the solution and I was more than happy to be on board with the out with the old in with the new, was even on board with Housties journeymen signing, anything that would work to get us up but this season is a right off. I cant see us getting much out of the next few games and that's that season over as far as promotion goes. I'll still be there every week to encourage and cheer on the team and shout abuse where I see fit that's just what I do on Saturday out of love for the club.
  4. Certainly true however I think to get the interview in the first place you would need to be highly thought of and if he makes an arse of this season I would doubt many clubs in our league would be seeking him out as the man to get them promoted or consolidate, Alloa would be the only exception I would think given it worked previously for both club and manager
  5. I think what he means is that his stock would take a hit so you would be looking at a mid to top table league one team to rebuild his profile with, guys like Smith, Rogers you know they are good coaches regardless of what happens, questions would be there for Hartley
  6. I would sack him now and try get hopkin in
  7. Cant see how anyone can expect us to reach the playoffs when we have one shot on target in our first game of the season at home. We should have been so up for this game especially after last season and it was lacklustre to say the least no creativity no urgency didn't see one player knock their pan in for the team, jersey or the supporters
  8. Makes sense to wait until July August when teams can evaluate and decide who is surplus to requirements, cant imagine the website being down completely in preparation of a marquee signing, hope I am wrong though
  9. Would welcome him back if he rediscovered that half season with farid though, any means necessary this season, by no means saying thats the answer but why not
  10. Just a thought, last chance this year for a push for promotion we have to consider every possibility regarless of the past
  11. Why not? Decent at this level, cant be on too much over the water, just thinking of out of contract players that could make a difference in a game which is what we need
  12. If the 3-5-2 or 5-3-2 doesnt work is higgy a shout for a winger in the old 4-4-2? We could be doing with width and he is out of contract
  13. Personally would love Sibbald to stay for one more year in our attempt for promotion, one season playing good football in a winning team would do wonders for his confidence and finally get that recognition from scouts that he can make the jump up in standard negatively he has had six months under Hartley and hasn't signed up for one last push
