Which is why i think this may be a lot harder than it looks. This will become a serious issue in the years ahead. Nothing coming from the ex West Juniors talking heads leads me to believe they have the wherewithal to take this further. The East crew broke ranks first when it came to the pyramid. The West leadership only became spooked once individual clubs started talking of going elsewhere.

Clydebank would/could be a good example. Imagine in say 2031 Clydebank have had a whole series of near misses at reaching the LL as it stands. Everybody from fans to onlookers would start to think there was something wrong with the system. The fault being there's only promotion spot for three league champions.

Need to think of something because the present set up will quickly kill the whole pyramid concept.

So a club makes the effort on and off the park, great, then finds out it will take 20 years to break through the glass ceiling into the LL. Hopefully the leadership of the WoSFL along with the two other leagues are looking at this. One promotion spot for 150 clubs just ain't on. Even a LL2 with genuine relegation/promotion, say a place for each league winner would be a start.

Just to clarify for the hard of hearing, Rutherglen Glencairn have floodlights.

Is that 9 clubs with floodlights in the home ground. I'm guessing the 14 new clubs have access to floodlights plus those ground sharing. Over 30 teams with access to floodlights, correct?

With a LL division 2 and of course all of it being regionalised. BSC Glasgow could have 6 separate teams in it, with no connection between them, wink wink. They could play all the home games in Campbeltown.

Gonnae be a revelation on here the next few years. Especially when some of the top 10 ex Juniors club in West figure out it will take 15 years to reach the LL.
