  1. Let me get this right - the manager is absent for the game against mid-tabled Neilston which you narrowly loss and show signs of an improved performance. Next games back in charge, against Irvine Vics you lose 5-2 and then the good people of Kello Rovers stroll into Gasworks and leave with you officially the worst team in the west region. ps Happy belated 66th birthday Larkyforever.
  2. Sorry to have to break this to you LF but its going to be a while yet if last weeks Advertiser is anything to go by. “Holmes needs time……I had a blank canvas on which to start my preparing my plans – and I`m quite pleased with the way they`re coming along.” ( Hamilton Advertiser 20/9/18 ) So after 10 games - zero wins & 69 goals conceded he`s “quite pleased”. I`m glad somebody is!!!! Even since the article, another 2 games - losing both 7-1. Things are definitely on the up!
  3. Every week it the same story. Believe me, there needs to be a change here. It’s just never going to happen with the current manager. That said, I’m hoping that you can get into the next round of the Scottish..... and get drawn a home game against the candy!
  4. Entitled to an opinion you are. The committee is letting the club and it’s supporters down. Surely as custodians of the club they should be stabilising things and keep them so going forward until eventually the next generation take over. But as things are going just now there won’t be much left to handover. Your club is in free fall. Im not doubting Dereks pedigree as a player. But sadly good players don’t necessarily make good managers. I suspect you could pick a team on a Saturday and the results wouldn’t be any worse. So in my opinion it’s time for a change. There’s decent idle managers out there with experience and contacts that’ll at least steady the ship before the supporters get fed up and slowly start moving on. What young person wants to go and watch that every week.
  5. Sometimes you have to go back to move forward, when Sinky was at the club most of the players were there for 4yrs,if we can keep half the team from this season and build for next season we will get there, bringing in a whole new team plus the management was a bridge too far, there will be light at the end of the tunnel but not in the short term You sir are deluded. If you are a custodian of the club then you really should be ashamed of yourself. Your team is slowly entering a losing mentality. Players are hardly going to be queuing up to join a team who is slowly becoming a laughing stock. You choose a manager with 18 games experiences junior level. Sadly it hasn’t worked out for him. There’s no shame in that but for whatever the reason he’s not going to do the honourable thing. So the decision is in the committees hands.
  6. 9-0! ask yourself this - if you were in charge would you wait until you’ve set all kinds of new results records for the club or would you do the right thing and admit to yourself that despite doing your best it’s still well short of what supporters and committee deserve and not cause the club any further embarrassment.
  7. It’s pretty obvious what needs to happen in my opinion.
  8. Available this week, get yours in time for Whitletts Vics game
  9. Oh dear, 3 league games - 20 goals conceded. I hate to say I told you so...
