  1. Missed the final as had forgot it was on so early. Guess I never missed much jusging by that absolute scudding by Richmond. Surely had to be a record winning margain for a grand final.
  2. A+ production value once again by bbc scotland
  3. There was a rumour over in the Ayr thread Tucker had put his name forward. Full time football is the only thing that could get him to leave imo especially in this case as it's in Ayrshire.
  4. 3. 2 winners automatic, runners up have a playoff for the final spot.
  5. They also have to account for Eyemouth who are in abeyance but the signs so far are positive & they look like returning. Can't see them going one of 12 & one of 13 if Eyemouth were to return & no one else joined whether from ERJFA or elsewhere
  6. Thats an ejection as it's helmet to helmet & it occured after the whistle
  7. The EOS structure this season may not be a permenant thing. In a hypothetical merger with the ERJFA I suspect they'd either have a 16 team tier 7 then north/south at tier 8 or the north/south split at tier 7. The future tier 7 structure depends on how many clubs join the EOS & if they are willing to have another season working towards restructure.
  8. Club through to UCL last 16 after seeing off Russian team Chertanovo Moscow 4-1 in 2nd leg & 5-1 on aggregate
  9. I think it's there every so often (no idea of frequency) as I've seen the pop up store a few times.
  10. Speaking from a west perspective it'll be hard for many to let go because unlike other parts of Scotland there hasn't been anything close to a senior non-league in these parts since the intermediate split in the late 20s & even that technically wasn't senior.
  11. There's a way of thinking that being 'junior' somehow gives people the football they watch & it's culture something that can't be found anywhere else. To change that in this line of thinking those things would be lost if they were no longer junior whether outside of the pyramid or in all but name within the pyramid. I've compared it before the American exceptionalism i.e. thinking you have something unique & distinct but in reality it's no different from something else equitable, in this case non-league football outwith the junior umbrella.
  12. Yes its purely the fault of the big bad seniors the juniors aren't in at tier 6. Lets just ignore the valid concerns & objections they had to the awful proposal....
  13. In space of a week PSG go from beating Real Madrid 3-0 to losing to Reims 2-0.
  14. It'd change things for the EOS however. Why should they as the established pathway in the pyramid get shafted by having a league shoehorned in on their doorstep? 30 odd clubs have moved for the reason of the EOS being aformentioned league (of course each club had its own reason for moving). It's grossly unfair that the junior regions get in without a comprimise but an existing pyramid league has to make major concessions. The other issue is it you'd have two routes to the pyramid in that part of the world. Let's say I'm an ambitious amateur or youth team looking to step up in West Lothian or Fife, where do I go?
  15. In theory it'd be possible to have a 4 team playoff from 3 leagues. 3 winners plus best runner up. However one champion not being licensed would complicate slightly but it'd be possible within the rules to have a fall-back in such a scenario.
  16. Wishaw vs Culter has been moved to Saturday October 5th due to the arson attack in the past week at The Beltane
  17. Came 3rd in the North Region Premier last season. Sitting 11th so far with 4 games played.
  18. I'd argue that wanting the erjfa in wholesale at tier 6 is grade mentality as its the opposite of common sense all for sake of retaining an archaic divide. I'm speaking as someone from the west who is very pro-pyramid
  19. That mandate isn't really there considering the north withdrew interest in october/november last year
