  1. Surprisingly the £200k covid insurance money hasn’t been spent on strengthening the squad. The yearly balance sheets will make interesting reading as to where this has gone.
  2. With the new season ticket prices announced then I’d be expecting some good quality signings unfortunately for myself I won’t be returning to see them. been a season ticket holder for 15yrs but not anymore . £290 for me £50 for my son simply can’t be justified for League 2 football. I know some u16’s are free when affiliated to the club but similar to other parents, children can have multiple hobbies & after school clubs. I’ve only seen a few other clubs ST prices & East Fife are far higher than the few I’ve seen so far. As a community club then i thought the club would’ve shown some loyalty to the supporters that raised thousands of pounds during covid. Rumour has it that East Fife were 1 of only a handful of clubs to receive a substantial pandemic insurance payout but regardless if there’s any truth in this or not the club should be looking after the fans during these hard times & not pricing them away from the game .
  3. Was only the other week you were saying there’ll be 10 sell outs this season
  4. Some fans might only be able to afford PATG for 10 games or so a season & cant afford a season ticket
  5. If the club introduced a loyalty card for a small fee (£2/£5 etc) which was stamped whilst going through the turnstiles then loyal PATG punters would be then be entitled to a cup ticket after ST/SC members, thus greatly reducing the numbers of tickets, if any, to go on general sale.
  6. Every ticket allocated has a seat number & row, if any rangers fans are caught in the home end & they received a +1 from a ST/SC member then that member should be named & shamed
  7. Bayviewboy gave 2 excellent suggestions, a loyalty card for PATG punters that can be stamped, hardly going ‘cost a fortune’ These are merely suggestions for future cup games as East Fife are always going to have to play a less glamorous cup game or 2 before they have a chance of drawing a seeded club in a cup so why not reward the PATG punter for attending previous rounds or League games
  8. Who mentioned anything about winning a group?
  9. Hardly rocket science, 1 game was PATG so you collect a voucher at the turnstile & any ticket game you keep your ticket stub. Preference would then be for your average PATG punter who attends regularly rather than a ST/SC’s +1 who’s only attending for the one off big game
  10. There’s always 2 Home games in the Betfred section, in the event of qualifying for the next round then priority should be for ST holders, SC members & those that attended the previous 2 home games if any tickets are remaining then ST/SC can have a +1 purchase.
  11. I’m all for optimism but I’m not sure where you’re getting 9 all ticket games from. Last season both Derby games weren’t sold out , East Fife have played Motherwell & St Mirren in the cups at Bayview with both falling well short of capacity. So yes a season ticket will guarantee you a ticket for the Rangers game but it’s hardly needed for entry to other games.
  12. Any official figures regarding season ticket sales from any Lge 1 clubs ?
  13. East Fife would’ve got a fee for Ross Brown
  14. Unfortunately for you lot around 25% of this revenue was spent before last season was finished
  15. Rovers certainly adding to the East Fife connection list. Having watched Flanagan at East Fife I’ll sum him up as a Bobby Barr without the attitude
  16. Ola Adeyemo, went back to Dundee Utd after not impressing then miraculously won a move to Watford
  17. I wondered when the younger ones were stumbling around with contradicting posts when the blazer brigade would come in. A fans representative on the board coming on a forum to reply to a post on Fash but failed to reply to anything about Neil Rankine. Stephen if you think my story about Fash is shite then go and ask Dougie. Sunshine Fifer, apologies for your migraine but when the club has been stripped of money/assets & you get puppets offering excuses for failed transfer dealings then it doesn’t sit with me. I’ve watched the majority of games for decades, have you?
  18. Totally agree, what some fans might not know is Naysmith was in talks to punt Fash to Eastvale before he scored 4 goals v Elgin , the rest as they say is history
  19. I don’t think you realise how contradicting your last few posts are.
  20. You were the 1 who said Rankine is silent & has nothing to do with the club yet he’s stripped the club of assets for a nominal fee & you have the audacity to say give us ideas on how to move forward & the stupidity to say we were outbidded for certain players & wage demands were too high. Does it never occur to you that the land was far more valuable on the open market thus helping the club meet wage demands for better players & in turn ‘move the club forward’
  21. 2 replies from the unofficial cheerleaders, 1 saying Rankine is a silent owner who takes nothing from the club & another who says the board are in full control of the running of the club & no input from Rankine. EMBARRASSING! So the board were in full control of the sale of land when Rankine, the man who takes nothing, decided he’d purchase the land for the price he wanted ? Wouldn’t it have made sense to offer the sale of the land to the highest bidder instead of the only bidder?
  22. Maybe yourself or someone else can tell us the clubs ambition? This happy to be in Lge1 with the chance of grabbing 4th attitude isn’t cutting it with fans as is evident in falling attendances. As long as we have Neil Rankine dictating budgets & strangling the life out the club then the club is going nowhere. Christ we’ve got a manager in charge who didn’t even apply for the job ! So maybe you can tell us the clubs ambition or even if they have a 5/10 year plan.
