  1. To be honest, I don't even think Luncarty pressed that hard, especially not after the first 20 minutes. If they'd have wanted to, they could easily have reached 20. I agree re. your second bit, also bought some half time draw tickets for that reason (although I had no winnings to donate back!).
  2. Whitehill are the bottom club, that's been confirmed previously. Selkirk are treated as never having played LL at all this season. However, Dalbeattie are safe due to the rule starting with "In order to maintain a membership of sixteen clubs...". So that means Whitehill are relegated, but eligible for re-election should either EK or Berwick beat Cove.
  3. On 2 occasions the next goal was scored before my P&B phone app had refreshed after my previous update.
  4. It has already been confirmed apparently that Dalbeattie are safe. The LL regulations are ambiguous on this, as it clearly mentioned that the 2nd bottom team would be relegated in case of a HL team getting promoted and SPFL42 getting relegated to LL. However, in the rule it's stated that the 2nd relegation will be to maintain 16 clubs. As Berwick would in that scenario become the 16th club, there is no need to relegate an extra team to get to 16 clubs.
  5. They definitely will be. I work in Blairgowrie and live in Dundee, I go through Coupar Angus on my daily commute. I finished work late today and decided to go to the game as I haven't been there before. Luncarty weren't even very impressive. They were 5-0 up after 18 minutes and then they slowed down considerably. At the start of the second half (at 7-0) they wanted to reach double figures which they reached within 10 minutes and slowed down again. I'm not exaggerating when I say that they could easily have reached 20 if they really wanted to. I hope Coupar Angus can recover from this season. It would be a shame to see them fold, decent enough ground and friendly, hard-working people at the club. Especially with such poor clubs, I've got a lot of respect for the people working hard to keep them going.

  21. Agreed, the remaining south of Tay Bridge ERJFA clubs are already pushing for regionalisation. They probably won't care that much whether they'd end up at tier 7 or 8. If they'd move en masse in 2020 so tier 8 can be EOS Division 2 North/South they'd probably be quite happy with the regionalised divisions.
  22. Old news, a vote amongst clubs put the idea of fewer teams in the top flight where it belongs: in the bin.
