  1. Noticed this morning that finally the Official Highland League website has finally realised that Turriff only scored once last week.
  2. At least we won't have to go to Fort William as their pitch is knackered and they are playing away from home every match
  3. 𝗖𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗖𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗖𝗛 𝗦𝗜𝗚𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗢𝗙 𝗗𝗔𝗩𝗜𝗗𝗦𝗢𝗡 Andy Kirk has completed his first signing as Brechin City Manager with the capture of former Raith Rovers skipper Iain Davidson. The vastly experienced central defender arrives at Glebe Park for a second spell despite interest from other clubs in higher divisions. 'Davo' initially joined up at Glebe Park as a fresh faced youngster in the 2003/04 1st division season following his release from Sunderland. However his stay at City was short lived as he moved back down south, signing for Scarborough. Returning north of the border a year later, Iain achieved legendary status at his hometown club Raith Rovers where he was captain over two spells, becoming only the third player in the history of the club to pass the 500 game mark. His 14 year service will be rewarded with a testimonial against Hibernian next month. The two spells at the Kirkcaldy side sandwiched a three year stay at Dundee, where he notched 83 appearances for the Dens Park outfit. In what will be seen as a real coup for the Club, naturally we are delighted to have Iain on board for the season ahead. 1919 1 share
  4. Found on Facebook 𝗦𝗤𝗨𝗔𝗗 𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘 The Club is pleased to announce that both midfielder Kieran Inglis and striker Rory Currie have penned new contracts to keep them at Glebe Park for the upcoming season. The pair, who were almost ever-present in the side last season, have committed their futures to City and will join Gregor Jordan, Luc Bollan and Michael Paton who are already under contract for the 2021/22 campaign. Popular defender Gerry McLauchlan will also join up with the squad for pre-season training. Connor Barron, Adam Devine, Yusuf Hussain, Chris McKee, Harris O'Connor and Sean Slaven have all returned to their parent clubs following the expiration of their loan deals. Also departing the Club is David Hutton, Bobby Barr, Sean McIntosh, Paddy O'Neil, Connor Coupe, Ewan McLevy, Abdul Osman, Jonathan Page, Chris Paton and Scott Reekie following the expiration of their contracts. We'd like to thank all of these players for their efforts in a City shirt and wish them all the very best in the future. The Club is also pleased to confirm that several new signings have agreed terms and will be announced in due course - keep your eyes peeled later tonight and tomorrow!
  5. I think they will end up promoting Kelty and Brora, since they can't come to a decision about the play offs, so a 12 team League 2
  6. Just read that SFA Could take membership away from the clubs, if they continue to go to court
  7. There is no play off between EOSFL and SOSFL as Stranraer Reserves who won the SOSFL cannot move
  8. SRU help with costs for clubs that have to go to Orkney
  9. The reason Orkney have to travel south to Carrick in Ayrshire is that they are in a NATIONAL league not regional.
  10. I think that there is a football pitch round the back of the rugby pitch stand, which Tynecastle will use, if the story is true
