  1. If I was to be overly critical I did feel we sat a bit deep second half yesterday perhaps over compensating for the fact we'd lost the lead twice in the first. We were very narrow allowing them to get the ball wide and sling in crosses which gave us bother due with Lang and Coll missing. If we had held on to the lead a bit longer first half I feel wed have seen the game out easier but their second is just too soon after we'd grabbed the advantage. One of the greatest mystery's of our time though will always be how someone as shit as Lewis Moore managed to play over 20 games for hearts in the premiership.
  2. I thought he was okay the longer the game went on but not sure whether he just wasn't mentally switched on when he came on for miller or what.
  3. Donaldson unlucky for me. He clearly plays the ball cleanly before bavidge actually runs into him. I'm not sure what he's really meant to do after that . Just one of these things not much you can do about it. The passback from McCann not sure what he's doing. Could Nicky perhaps have dived on it and saved it when you look at it difficult to say really probably.the fact it caught him off guard completely. Certainly wouldn't blame him.
  4. What made you think that there certainly didn't look to be an issue. I'd have given him a run at left back. McCann was quite obviously nowhere near ready to come on when he did. Was an absolute bomb scare for ten/fifteen minutes and then settled down
  5. Tidser is their weakest player for me . Slows the game down and plays like a third centrehalf he's that far back. They'd be far better without him. Without the red card I reckon we'd have taken 3 or 4 off them .
  6. He was very unlucky to get subbed when playing so well. Thought we could've played him at left back. Leon was still half asleep when he came on.
  7. Can't comment on the red card till I see it on the highlights but the ref apart from that was absolutely brutal. Sometimes luck, decisions etc go against you and you have to pull a result out the fire. That's why going unbeaten is so difficult and has hardly ever been done. We made it far harder than it should've losing two goals from very poor defending ten men or not but you can't question the teams fight when up against it. If we'd held on to our two leads for longer things would have been a bit more comfortable for me.
  8. That ref is a complete and utter clown. 10 against 12.
  9. I can only presume he didn't actually kick him full blooded in the face or there is no way the guy would've been able to continue.
  10. Lack of confidence ? From what? He's not put a foot wrong in a good number of games. Our defenders need to start clearing the ball instead of heading it straight up in the air at times or not heading it at all. The keeper has been the least of our problems today.
  11. I don't know how you can blame the keeper for either goal. First McCann fanny about on the ball second should've been blocked and was right in the corner Hogarth had no chance. We need to clear our lines far better.
  12. Wtf is going on. McCann has looked lost since he came on. I know that perhaps we got bored winning so easy every week that we wanted to make it a bit more difficult but ten men and an own goal is a bit much. Kelty are shite but not quite that shite.
  13. Wtf happened there? Turned round to talk to my boy and the next thing cols off.
  14. He seems to make a bit of a meal of the straightforward saves one minute and then brings off an absolute worldie the next minute.
  15. Stranger things have happened . Hamilton aren't anything special but neither have any of the championship sides been we've played this season. Doubt any championship sides would have any problems against alloa, Montrose or cove though.
  16. Typical a programme on the championship and half time is all about Two premiership sides playing tomorrow. Noone watching this game gives a feck.
  17. Seen them a few times on these Friday night games and can't say they've ever been a great watch.
  18. I'd expect his agent is trying to see what's out there as they are always looking to make a few bob. We need to have offered him the same deal at least to that he was on but I would presume with us moving up and he having signed basically what would have been a pretty low value contract initially that the latest offer would be a step up in wages. If he'd been a free then I'd expect lots of interest from teams seeing him as worth a punt but obviously there would be a fee involved which will put suitors off even if it isn't anything major.
  19. MacIver for me has come on leaps and bounds since he rocked up last June. Mcglynn has really got the best out of him. His confidence is high and he is a pivotal member of our front 3. He wins virtually everything in the air against far taller defenders. He holds the ball up very well and is excellent at getting it moved on quickly. He isn't perfect and that's why he's playing for us. If he also had electric pace , could swerve and dribble and a thunderbolt of a shot he'd be earning a fortune elsewhere. He's very unfortunate to miss out to burrell whose struggled for goals since the turn of the year. As we've seen though burrell contributes very little else to the side when he isn't scoring
  20. We could keep the promise and raise more money simply by not having early bird pricing this season. The season ticket price then still stays the same.
  21. Good league one striker but has never managed to hit the same heights in the championship. Would've snapped him up if we'd been stuck down a level but not for me a level up. On the season ticket front are we freezing the early bird price or the final price or both?
