I still think they will challenge leafa best. It just goes to show that the pennies players weren't up to facing leafa teams on a regular basis. It's ok winning a one off cup tie but when the merger was announced there was so much promise in the air, I feel it's been deflated somewhat

I thought the idea of both sides joining up would be good for the league as it was almost apparent that craigshill were ready to fold, however, it smacks of desperation to me if there are only a handful of players from pennies ready to make that step. It's obvious the games they would play on a regular basis would be slightly harder than what they were used to last season. Is that a factor? Or have they simply lost guys to other sides?
