Danderhall 1 - 8 Sandys. That 6 - 1 win from last season seems such a long and pointless memory now

They're not good enough to challenge them yet mate. It's taken years for Sandy's and tollcross to get where they are. It's a very difficult thing to do

I agree with you about the league. I just think laurieston and Lothian are facing a completely different animal if they get Sandy's or tollcross from what they have been used to

I think a lot of people are reading too much into Laurieston and Lothian Vales start. One thing is sure, They are nowhere near Sandy's or Tollcross. I haven't seen CP United but I've seen everyone else and if they think they will get any joy from Sandy's or tollcross in cup competitions I thing they are mistaken

What's everyones thoughts on tomorrow's fixtures? Easy wins for CP United, Sandy's and tollcross. Also fancy lauriston to score another load and expect Lothian Vale to crush Dunbar. ESV v Meadowbank looks like the game to watch.

The reason I believe it is dying is that I see more and more guys who maybe cant commit to the higher levels not bother their arse with the amatuer game. Would rather sit and smoke green with their mates and play fifa. When I played anyone who couldn't commit to east of Scotland or junior as it was dropped into the amatuer with a point to prove. I dont see that anymore

A lot of people say tollcross will be the team to beat every year. Correct me if I am wrong, isn't the Logan the only decent competition they have won the last 3 years? A lot of people go on about Sandy's and their frailties but if anyone has a point to prove over a season it is most definitely Tollcross

I think the better teams involved through all leagues in the association will only make the amatuer game stronger, which, imo is dying! Personally I'd relish the opportunity to take on the East winners at their own patch. I dont see any clubs reasoning in rejecting that idea. All the best to all clubs starting next week. Always looked forward to this stage of the season. Sandy's will be fine. Hendersondelivers needs his head looked at.

The same reason a lot of players left the premier league to go to the bottom division. Never really understood the guys thought process who have made that move but obviously they have their reasons. I have heard Steven Anderson has already left Lothian. Is that the start of an exodus? They do have good premier league players but come October when the league is over they might struggle to hold onto players imo

I took in Tranent v Lothian vale tonight. It was a good game ended 4 - 2 Lothian. Tranent were 2 up first goal was a gift 2nd was a free header but Lothian continued to knock the ball around and didnt change the way they played and it paid dividends for them. Tranent were poor imo but Lothian vale look like they could cause upsets. Number 8 for Lothian was a standout

For what I know through experience I am happy to share it. I know for definite that newcraighall were paying players last year and are paying players this year. I know through speaking to players that dinseys st Bernard's team didnt get paid any money. I know through being directly involved with Sandy's that there has never been a penny paid to any player and I also know a lot of boys who have signed with phildos team and there hasnt been any money passed there either. I do not want phildos team to do well but I think credit where its due he has assembled a decent squad, as did Disney with st Bernard's. The only animals continuing to do this are newcraighall and its bought them no success whatsoever. Hope that continues for as long as they pay players.

I think sandys will win the league again. CP United wont be used to so many difficult league games in a season along with cups so I predict them to finish 3rd behind tollcross. Sandysto win the league, the east and the Logan imo

Yous will get scudded from Dalkeith and LTHV. Yous have signed a no bad group of players but not good enough to challenge leafa best imo.
