  1. Went to the league game at Bonnyrigg funnily enough. Mind that 12 point gap eh and a double season - but yes it should have been a treble.
  2. Surely Robbie wouldnt be interested in a big step down to Penicuik? Has the Bonnyrigg position been advertised yet? Benji Boy has been getting his CV updated for both Bonnyrigg and Penicuik!
  3. I really hope Mr Harvey is not in consideration for the Bonnyrigg job.
  4. Bill, You critisiced the club in your post 2 back regarding players sponsorship lol club is being run great ! Better financially than it ever has been dare I suggest, Bank balance down a little but vast improvements in the ground. If you did make a financial contribution to the club then it goes against all you have been talking about since March. BTW I dont like Swimming - I prefer fishing, night fishing with a few tins
  5. Bill, You didnt say what game you were going to tomorrow? Surprised you made your way to the EOS forum
  6. Hi Bill, Are you going tomorrow? or are you going to see Penicuik in the juni....Eos?
  7. Lol Pressure was always gonny be on you and you just werent up to it. All the bestest in moving forward.
  8. what a rubbish league. How could anyone except Benji Boy get excited by this?
  9. Despite the on pitch success things appear (from the outside) to be looking less than rosy at Musselburgh, manager leaving, players leaving in their droves and rumours of money troubles. Clown in charge been at it for years. Why players would even consider signing for him raises doubts about their intelligence to be honest. Players months behind on wages/ Manager also with little chance of receiving the funds and its all down to one man. I am amazed that this has not be raised at a more senior level years before now, sad times.
  10. Once at the forefront of Junior football - now just a follower.
  11. Yes the true pioneers being Kelty and then Dalkeith, Blackburn and in turn Bonnyrigg planned dealing with these issues looking at the positives and negatives and yes I know we had a difference of option on this. However, I do agree that some teams voted to stay even a month back but the momentum is moving so quickly that some have panicked in particular the clubs that have an association with the top table at the SJFA. This has been on the table for months and even if these clubs werent planning on jumping they should have considered all options in particular when Bonnyrigg (or Lithgae) announced that they were jumping. My concern is still the lack of leadership (from the sjfa) and communication to the east clubs who are still planning to stay under the juniors.
  12. Tell St Andrews that Juniors is better, Honest guv !
  13. Think you missed out the part I said I'll take on board the advice and go look into it. I wouldnt be questioning you. However, I would be questioning your committees view on this. You deal with on pitch and they should be dealing with off pitch / Association matters whilst liasing with yourself.
  14. Got to take into account players contracts also? Clubs will be putting them in at the start of June right?
  15. Bill, I am at work and have more to do than hang about street corners peddling your nonsense to anyone who will listen. The clubs is better run that it ever was especially when your cohorts were there. I doubt that the current excellent commitee would stoop to the levels that you mention. I dont know why you bother going anyways you have little positive to say about the club. The Social club - They made their bed they can lie in it. Run by dinosaurs who have their own agenda now that reminds me of someone! Now Bill - your team is away its looking like most of the league is away. This arguement is done. You lost. The clubs jumping will be in a better position than remaining in the juniors now go and find something else to cry about. For someone not going to see Bonnyrigg next year you have a lot of bitterness all you do is scaremonger. Maybe you should print the licencing manual and have a wee read of it on your holidays.
  16. Bill, Has your old pal/ cohort finally finished the car park? Hes finally done a good job. Shame you wont get to use it if I were to drive I would have parked in your space but I dont. Brit Army uniform not welcomed at NDP? Care to explain...?
  17. To be fair Bill it looks like a got a bit of a bite there! Anyways the offer is still there .... Ive never tried whacky baccy in my life thats a scandalous statement to make! I am not too confident regards the game tonight we have not been great the last few weeks. At least next season you wont have so far to travel with many of the games being derby games and probably bigger crowds also as not many teams bring fans with the exception of a few. I am pleased that you have accepted that this is the best way forward for all. Many clubs have now figured out that the future is licencing and I dont think you will be able to stay away ! I always enjoy celebrations. I am hopeful we can win the EOS next season Bill so hopefully another celebration next year.
  18. Hi Bill, Are you finally coming round to the idea about EOS football? I was going to buy you a season ticket for any East Junior team for next season as well. Brilliant news about the Big Rose winning the league eh? Looks like that hard working Wee Rose committee are finally seeing sense also ... Lets abide by their decision as you said. Hope you are well.
  19. At no point did I call any club mediocre!!! All what you have said is great BUT where does the funding come from to do ground improvements and run u20 sides ECT? There is a pot for EoS I understand but when that pot needs to be shared out to another say 30 clubs then each club receives or potentially receives a great deal less than they were surviving on so these teams leaving for the promise of a pot of gold and stability to survive are being lead up a garden path imo Have you spoke with any of the clubs that are jumping? Have you spoken to the EOS? Kelty? Even some of the West Lothian clubs who now appear to be considering jumping? The decision in the end is the clubs but I would try and get as much information as you can as quickly as the clubs possibly can in order that at least your club can make an informed decision either way. Good luck ..
  20. I would include Broburn in this statement. A well run club and it would easily obtain a licence.
