  1. Are they not some type of small peppermint?
  2. I wouldn't bet on Falkirk going into Holiday mode. With 6 games to go they are still unbeaten and still need points to win the league. If they win the league this weekend then I'm sure they would like to finish the season unbeaten just for the record, especially with so few games left to play.A number of their players will also be playing for a contract in the Championship next season.
  3. I think the Binos will be fine and will finish above Kelty and Annan. The last round of 9 fixtures started tough for us with Falkirk,Hamilton and Montrose first up,where we collected 3 points,a realistic target. The next match against Cove will be tough and we will do well to get anything from that one. After that its Alloa then the remaining fixtures are against teams in the bottom half of the table.Annan and Kelty still have to play Falkirk,Hamilton and the Binos. I would be more worried if I were an Annan or Kelty fan.Queens ,I really dont know about but think they might improve on the run in. I know the play offs can be a bit of a lottery but I do think that the team finishing 9th will be better than the league 2 play off sides.
  4. I think everyone will be out of contract except Blair Currie and Ross Davidson.
  5. I would expect Sam Bird the defender we signed from Stockport to make an appearance today, unless he is injured. Hopefully Crane to come in from the start too.
  6. Who said it was in Stirlings favour to have the game cancelled? That makes no sense. Stirling Albion don't own the ground, they rent it from Active Stirling (Stirling City Council),who also maintain it.The ground is also shared with the University of Stirling in the Lowland League.FFS it's only a football match.
  7. What lack of effort are you talking about? How do you know how much effort was put into trying to get this match on? The ground was frozen over a period of several days and sometimes at temperatures below -7 .You cannot put covers down over a long period of days. The grass just dies. Warning of the game not going ahead was given around 3 days ahead of the match and a pitch inspection for 11 am on the day of the match. The Dumbarton games last season have no resemblance to what happened here. The Dumbarton matches were being called off after players and fans had made their way to the ground ,approximately an hour before the game. I think you need to grow up and accept that we have no control over the weather and I'm sure everyone involved with getting the game on did their best. You sure can talk some pish.
  8. The Binos will be desperate to stop the rot and take something from this game.I just hope we scrap the 3 at the back idea. Our guys simply dont have the pace for that kind of football.Im confident we can break our duck and score at least one goal.
  9. When they advertised the position at the start of the season they only asked for students to do the job.Maybe that was their problem in finding someone.
  10. I've searched and dont see any highlights for the match just a couple of boring post match interviews.
  11. I would say 'you were only as good as you were allowed to play'.
  12. I'm pretty sure a cup game against Hibs was live a few years back.
  13. Ewan Wilson,19 year old left sided defender signs on from Motherwell until the end of the season, and goes straight into the squad versus Cove.
  14. Hopefully we have a couple of defenders back from injury after having last weekend off.Annan will be tough opponents for anyone in this league and I will be happy to take a point at least from this game.
  15. Well done Binos to get that result under the circumstances.Having greater posession does not necessarily mean superiority.Passing the ball from side to side then blootering it over the the bar or round the post from a distance often doesnt get results. What you do with the ball when you get it is what makes the difference.
