No he didn’t start in the playoff final he started his antics in the semifinals.

I hope he gets game time and he’s not on the bench all the time.If he’s a midfielder play him there and give him a game.

If he signs anybody I can’t see them getting a game.Look at his previous loanees he has brought to the club.If they come off the bench they will be put on the wing.I would like to see Cunningham getting a chance especially if others are not scoring but that’s not happening either.

The problem as I see it is the manager is the weakest link.How many times do we see players playing wide and looking out of position.When the games not going our way no changes are made.The squad has not been improved since close season by signing better players.

On Saturday I would not have dropped Page,Walls or Newton.Try dropping your slow uncreative players.The midfield is to slow as are the front two.At the end of last season the manager should have identified where we could improve and made the necessary changes and that has not happened.Still needing new (younger) blood in midfield.

It wasn’t that funny

During the game it was clearly obvious it was going Peterhead’s way.The manager did not change it.In the league cup substitutions happened quickly and effectively.Now we are back to dithering about and waiting until we are 2-0 down before making changes.We are also lacking a creative midfielder linking midfield to forwards.Why when Austin is ineffective not introduce the other forward on the bench .The better managed team won on the day.

Last season when we played at home a good number of away support did not come to Bayview because of our pricing .This coming season if East Fife vote yes I can see us getting even less away support coming and losing out financially. When the chairman of East Fife is contacted regarding topics would it not be more professional to take the email or house address and respond with a board statement.

After yesterdays antics after a player scored and celebrated in front of the opposition supporters.I wonder what would happen today if Celtic or rangers score and run over and celebrate in front of the opposition fans.Probably just get a wee pat on the back from the referee as happened yesterday.

The team played well last week.I disagree with dropping Slattery and changing the team.

The better managed team one.Agree with the first poster it seems that certain players get a game every week when those on the bench should be starting.Trouten does not do enough for me when the other team have the ball.When we won at Elgin mercer was not playing yet he walks right back in the team the following week.Management look clueless

East Fife started well until we scored then that was it.Stenhousemuir then were the better team for the rest of the game.I don’t get this thing about putting a midfielder on the wing.Every team we play it looks like they have more players in the middle of the park.Ferguson should be in the middle of the park because Trouten is to slow and players run past him too easily.Did we have a game plan yesterday or was it just a big punt up the park and chase it.The man of the match was our centre half on loan from Montrose.

You might find people commenting once they have won more than “a game”.I thought it was a good result and was surprised by the team selection.

I heard a story from another East Fife fan.A few managers ago the East Fife directors were interviewing for the managers job.An applicant came in and said what he needed for the club to be successful.He was supposedly told that EastFife couldn’t do that.The applicant then supposedly said their is no point in me being here and got up and left and it was rumoured he was in for less than 5mins.It was rumoured to be Dick Campbell who went to Arbroath and is still there.Could it be the club has no ambition.

Fly fifer has pointed out that a bigger crowd would be more likely on January2. The reason you give is wages will be less today.Hold on you have slashed the entry fee for today so are we making a loss today.If the club had got the entry fee right at the start of the season we would not be cutting prices now.Not all season ticket holders are happy.

The East Fife defence has been terrible for weeks.Surely their should be changes and utilise the players on the bench.Pat Slattery and Williamson surely deserve a chance.It would be nice to see the substitutes get involved in the game not just the usual one.

It’s been pointed out since the season started by most fans what we need.Players with experience of playing at a higher level.The substitutes don’t ever get game time ,how are they ever expected to get match fit or prove themselves.The players that play week in week out some of them should have been dropped along time ago.We signed a player who was injured when we did not even have a manager and interviewing for one..Did we ever have the intention of gettting a new manager from outwith the club. I can’t believe we are not playing at home on Jan 2.The time of year that fans look forward to and friends and family come along increasing the gate and the INCOME. Another bad decision to go with the admission prices.

Is the reason East Fife don’t make any substitutions apart from Steven’s anything to do with the substitutes getting more money? Mcdonald has stated we need to use the whole squad and I don’t see that. The squad is too small and no depth in quality and experience.
