  1. I get your point but the last time we played at the TFS it was the fourth-highest attended game in Scotland outside the OF and it still got hardly a mention although Tam Cowan has championed it both times he and Stuart Cosgrove spoke about it for a good bit on Radio Scotland yesterday
  2. You can also argue that it wouldn't be intelligent life as let's face it why would it pick Bonnybridge if it was intelligent?
  3. It's hard to decide which part of that is worse ..lol
  4. You've changed your tune since last week, obviously being suspended and warned off the mods worked and please discuss on the match thread instead of here unless your on a fishing trip. But you are more than likely drunk given your tone.
  5. What facts ? .if it wasnt for the fact Airdrie got their striker sent off you would have been hosed 3 nil, if it wasn't for the fact they had a keeper sent off you drew 1 each. As for the abuse, after your antics and comments last week on various threads not to mention our own and comments on the death of Craig Gowans you really are as low as they get you should think yourself lucky you got off with being called a bawbag.
  6. F..k me your making yourselves and McPake out to be Man City and Pep, listen to yourself you deluded bawbag
  7. Given what we have had to endure from Hartley until Rennie we have, the fact we didn't find it acceptable is just a side effect of that
  8. Actually thought at the TFS your players went down rather easily when we did get into your box and the referee awarded the decision to yourselves for a foul, nullifying any chance we did have at a shot on goal.
  9. Kind of thought the 1st half we never really got out of 2nd gear and was as everyone said a case of breaking them down and when the first goal came the collapse was inevitable. I think that ref will be on the SFA sh*t list for awarding us a penalty, the shock when he pointed to the spot .
  10. Telfer can turn it on against lower league one players you would think he was Messi but he isn't creative enough, Gary Oliver who I thought got a lot of stick for not scoring enough from our support but look at the work he does bring others into play trouble is trying to get players with that bit of creativity are few and far between McGlynns dealing in the loan market has been spot on in fact his recruitment we haven't had a single failure and some of the previous who folk wouldn't want near the team turned it round McKay, Nesbitt. Always a gamble with a rookie manager, but if you don't chance it you will never know but i think a lot of it may come from being pals with guys in the dressing room and not knowing how to make that change as a manager and dealing with them daily and not ruin a friendship there is also that bit of tactical naivety no one wants to admit they are wrong and said could probably be the same in football (a lot of our support have questions mcglynns thinking of not starting Burrell instead of Oliver and it shows why he is the manager and we aren't). If he can make better use of the loan market and strike up more connections in the game there's no reason why you cant gain promotion
  11. Just puts him to number 2 to Kinnear, listened to mcGlynn interview after yesterday saying his (PJ)confidence is/was a bit shaky, I thought it was coming back but going to Airdrie where he got injured might have dunted it a bit, same time I wonder if the scoreline would have been any different if PJ was in.
  12. I think part of your problem is as we have had in the past Telfer is a luxury player that goes hiding too much in games when it counts he isn't up for a scrap when it comes down to it.
  13. Also thought at the start of the season he was looking a bit overweight he's trimmed down and I would be surprised if no one came in for him and if they don't then he needs a new agent
  14. I think after yesterdays showing PJ will be down the pecking order, as much as he is regaining his confidence a bit Kinnears redeemed himself for the first goal and then some and would start him instead of PJ at EE
  15. Need to have a sense of perspective though clubs took a battering through covid where the premiership and Championship clubs were favoured then you have the current cost of living crisis and not to mention outwith Edinburgh most towns and cities need to contend with losing supporters to either side of the arse cheeks through glory hunting or bigotry, which again takes away but playing an attractive brand of football might not win you games it will win you some fans. We've had so much mismanagement through so called "successful business people" on the board in the past and I like to think the fans we have on board now and changing things behind the scenes and have uncovered some monumental f**k ups that are and in the process of being resolved. I reckon though club and community engagement that would change things the trouble is a lot of it takes money so you are still gambling unless there are grants that can be allocated through SG and council
  16. Still have Airdrie Utd on the bins in the ground
  17. Actually thought you were one of the best sides we have been up against this season, if anything it was a great advert for league 1 but when you look at how this league is now half the teams were championship sides up till the last few in namely Dunfermline, Alloa, QotS (bear in mind all got the 500k covid grant as well) plus you have lower league ones that have came into the pyramid structure having money chucked at them Kelty, Edinburgh and in the past Queens Park. You started off bright and after the first goal, thought we were going to be on the wrong end of a doing until we got to grips with it though without being cocky thought we could have had another couple of goals.
  18. Its cool all sorted, wandered over to your website seen online tickets only no pay at the gate (any specific reason as surely that would drop numbers no by much but a bit?)
  19. I think today will be a tough call tbh, most bairns are going into this one grounded in the reality of where we are we are on a good run and it has to come to an end at some point i do think if it does it it will be today. How are you with your suspensions with the 2 sendings off the past couple of weeks ? its probably been asked but have you got a PATG today ?
  20. All contributing factors, however, lets talk about your own 3 nil up against Dunfermline and managing to lose 4-3. I mean we had to appoint Gary Holt to have a collapse on that proportion although we did do it twice once in a cup game against Hibs and another collapse in the league. If you had been down a couple of goals already I could get that under the circumstance, but lying down to Dunfermline at 3 goals up. you could have at least tried to make the capitulation convincing.
  21. Just a combination of things that went wrong but as I say losing the keeper and being a man down didn't help, Anyway you lot lying down to Dunfermline the last couple of weeks with having a keeper and a striker sent off but no doubt will turn up for this one.
  22. losing the keeper and being a man down when there were no more subs to be made was a major part in that, not to mention honking officiating, and am sorry bud but that pitch looks as if the young team have had a swally session on it not to mention the state of it, not that ours is in the best shape either but damn site better than what that is. Added in the fact we didn't turn up that day was another deciding factor in the result.
  23. tbf never really thought the Airdrie united name took off for you, kind of strange not seeing Clydebank around when you look at names that used to be in the leagues in the past.
