Calum was in the old stand for part of the 2nd half, re Kevin i'm sure all this would have been arranged ages ago long before Calun's ban an probably before the reunion day was announced.

Thanks. Hope Callum gives the team the roasting they deserve.

Callum had a ban and Smith was at a stag do.

I'm not sure I saw Callum at all though I'm sure he must have been around somewhere. If Kevin was indeed 'away' on a 'stag do' I would be very unhappy to hear of the absence of a senior member of the touchline management team in what was supposed to be such a signature fixture for the club. Not really sure what he brings to the piece really. Appears to be a waste of a wage. Still raging.

  3. That was totally abysmal today. The Chairman was singularly unimpressed. I can do no better than to quote verbatim a shout at the team by a Cowdenbeath supporter in the main stand early in the second half: "We've shown up and done our part for you today. Why don't you do the same for us. You are embarrassing!"  I hope the team and the manager stand up and apologise to the fans for that display. Two more dismal goals conceded from corners. What exactly is the manager doing at training? Maybe we need to bring in a new assistant manager instead of Smith next season who knows how to organise a defence.  I am seriously pissed off.

Good stuff, yeah it’s been pretty miserable since yesterday morning but before that there hasn’t been too much rain of late. The drainage at Central Park seems pretty decent these days so hopefully no issues, and think the rain should clear from this evening.

Temperature dropping to freezing in the wee small hours too. Fingers crossed and all that.

  5. Arrived yesterday afternoon from dahn saarf  in anticipation of the big day on Saturday. Jeez it's awfy dreich. Hope the drainage at the Fife Maracoona is up to it....

Well anyone who has doubts about the penalty claim have a look at this.

Two set pieces. Two goals. I wonder how many we have conceded on set pieces over the season.....

Great first half performance at 2-0, could easily have been 5 or 6, some good saves from Gala keeper Jay Cantley

Seems to be the same story for the last few games. Ach well. Good result and Scotland won as well. Happy days.

I always seem to manage to be away when the closest fixtures to my house are played, so look forward to hearing about it as well.  Very threadbare squad today looking at the lineup.

Aye. Hepburn injured in the warm up by all accounts too. Looking at the line up it looks like Robbie played in midfield, where he absolutely should be imo.

I was flicking through a Cowden programme tonight from a few years back and reading an article about fastest goals, with Greg Stewart’s goal against Ayr in the 2014 play off being the quickest. Hadn’t noticed these highlights before, before my time watching the team, that team had some fine players in it. 😍

We had some outstanding players back then. Really liked that strip too. One of my favourites.

  10. Just watched the East Stirling vlog on Saturday's game. What an excellent and enjoyable watch. Some of the challenges by the East Stirling boys were a bit, ahem, agricultural. The challenge on our number 10 (Matty ?) was a red card all day. Hepburn was outstanding !

I would have been here much sooner had your board had the courage of their convinctions to release their statement publicly, but like many others I was unaware they had even released a statement. Perhaps if they weren't absolutely despicable hypocrites they wouldn't have been so desperate to hide their pathetic lies in an email rather than sharing it publicly, but we can add cowardice to the list of reasons your board are rancid charlatans.

Unlike every Cowdenbeath fan on P&B I actually have a modicum of self-respect, and so I can honestly say that if my clubs' board had put their names to such a disgraceful pack of lies I wouldn't set foot in the ground again. You do you though, carry on believing they actually don't want B Teams in the league and were simply forced into voting in their favour over and over again, for increasingly obtuse and transparently bullshit reasons.

None of us gives a flying f*ck what you think cockroach. Happy Xmas.

Basically Cowden don’t want B teams but also don’t want a 30 game league campaign which is only other option as SFA vetoed a LL request to increase to 18 teams which would have allowed increased ventilation from / to Tier 6.

I don’t want B teams or a 30 game league so can sympathise with the shit options presented. The thought of 22 Saturdays without a game or taking part in the Acme Joiners and Plumbers Trophy or similar is not appealing. On balance would I prefer to see us fighting for 3 points against a B Team, Regrettably, Probably !

Mulraney and Maxwell must be laughing their balls off watching Clubs ripping into each other while they stop the pyramid developing.

Aye. Spot on. It was a case of holding their noses whilst voting yes. The veto by the SFA on an expanded lowland league (increasing the number of games thus generating matchday revenue) presented the club with no win scenarios. As we know being drawn away in every round of the Shittyarse  Fannytinkle Cup will generate no gate money and will end up costing the club money with no return, which is pretty crappy.

4 up at HT. A couple of good goals. Especially the second. Great move. Lanark started off well with a good shape and obvious motivation. However a collapse in the last 20 mins of the half. Still it’s been good entertainment.

6-0 now. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that we won't draw this one now 😁
