I think it's been a fairly even game. Neither team has created anything clear cut. But a terrible mistake and we give County something to hang on to.

They're doing well pressing our defence, but they're also quite happy to let us have the ball in midfield, knowing we'll struggle to play through them. The game looks like it could finish 1-0.

Can't believe the the ree feree wasn't called to look at the handball. It was clear as day on the replay.

Because its St Mirren. We dont get VAR decisions

I agree... I just think its one of those things that different fans will be divided on.

I'm not sure what the split would be either.

I'm happy so long as we don't have too many loanees filling the team.

In the scheme of things it would be like a full signing with him leaving for nothing when the season ends. If we get him for next season that would be a season and a half with us. Strain and Baccus have been with us for 2 seasons and will leave for nothing.

I think getting Kwon back would be a superb bit of business. The lad has talent and better than what we could get on a free transfer.

    Fingers crossed

That's the worst I've seen St Johnstone play in years. Looked like a team of individuals without a gameplan. So so many bad touches, Robinson is not a wingback so stop playing him there.

It has now got to the stage where I even said in the pub after that Crawford would make a difference to that side. That's how bad it's become, f**k you Levein and f**k you Andy Kirk.

To be fair you played worse in the 4 nil game. However you still played really poorly.

Levien is a shocking manager. No urgency from him at all. His teams play so negative.

I would struggle to watch any of his teams each week.

The disallowed goal probably was a free kick, though could be debated either way.

Thats definitely not a VAR decision though; just down to interpretation, and should have stayed with whatever the ref decided at the time.

You see the likes of the second Thistle goal on Friday night that was wrongly disallowed (eventually).. that’s the type of howler that var was supposedly meant to rid the game of, not these marginal ones where they re-ref everything.

I actually thought it was a foul at the time. Fine margins. Once it goes to VAR you always know its not happening.

Felt sorry for him as the finish was quality.

Hope he scores against Ross County to make up for it.

Even Yardley and Lavety only had a season together. And we played with a front 3 that year.

We've had some decent strikers over the years (Thompson, Higdon, Sutton all come to mind) but I can't remember many 'partnerships'. Sutton and Kean for a season? Dargo and Mehmet?

Martin Cameron for half a season was superb. We haven't been blessed with great goalscorers recently.

  6. Having reflected on yesterday we need to look at things in perspective.

We recently lost 1 nil to the blue bigots in a game we really should have taken something from.  Our strikers were not up to it that day.

Yesterday was no different. We should have won but for poor finishing.

The difference is losing to Rangers is seen as a hard luck story but expected.

Losing to Livi is seen as the end of the world.

Both games should have seen us take points.

We are crying out for a natural penalty box striker.

We dont have one so we will have days like yesterday.

Getting to 5th in the league is amazing. We are used to ups and downs and it is tribute to Robbo that defeats against Livi are seen as the end of the world.

Some St Mirren fans with Celtic fan level of sore losers, with their seething posts. We've all been there, wondering how we lost a game, St Mirren have done the same to us a few times too, yes we rode our luck, and they missed a penalty, same thing happened to us at Paisley when Kelly lumped it over the bar, and they got a late winner. Massive, massive 3pts for us, and a lifeline to staying up, couldn't give a monkeys about how we played, it's all about the pts for us just now.

We've came away with a few hard luck stories this season when we deserved something, about time it went our way for a change. Hadn't given up on us, but it was looking like we'd never win a game to get ourselves closer to County, the cup win last weekend and now getting a league win, it feels like we're going to make a fight of it. Next weekend at Dingwall is going to be equally massive, a win there would tie us on pts. Mon the Lions.

You are spot on. We all have days like today.

You took your chance so well done Livi
