The previous purple patch would have been late 70s/early 80s when Weir, Munro and Thompson were all capped for Scotland.
Since then there have been isolated instances like Roy Aitken, Gudmunder Torfason (Iceland), Paul Fenwick (Canada), Sander Puri (Estonia) and Duckens Nazon (Haiti) but never have the club had so many at the same time as now.
McMenamin (NI), Strain and Bacchus (Australia), Greive (NZ), Gogic (Cyprus) and now Bwomono (Uganda).
Boyd munce is also (NI)

When have we ever had so many international players?

Not sure it would appeal to Robbo right now.

Apparently Michael O'Neill is in the frame for the sheep job.
Not good news for us, if that's the case.
Why? A genuine question

From the BBC.
Quite variable quality, but definitely a very important part of our team.
We rely to.much on Tanser who has been superb. Once we have Strain back we are better balanced when attacking.

Good to see Grieve score today. Can't help but think he won't be back next season.

I see that Maccabi Haifa have loaned Stav to one of the smaller teams in the top league. He scored for them at the weekend.
It's a mystery as to why he wasn't a success with us or at least given more game time.

Is anyone else worried that we lose Gogic at the end of the season. Apart from the County game he has been outstanding.

Has anyone got or seen footage of the other penalty VAR checks from yesterday.

Anyone know why Baccus missed out?

No Baccus today???

Really happy that we gave Olusanya a new deal. He is improving all the time. Love his attitude and commitment.
His wages won't break the bank and we need a player who won't cause issues if on the bench.
Would love to see him start tomorrow

I just hope we get a break from VAR and get 3 points

Same thing to Ric, my own personal opinion, having watched football without VAR, and now with VAR, is that I like neither the technology, nor the officials handed the keys to drive the technology. The technology is not adding to my enjoyment of live football, it is detracting from it. I don’t care if they could put prime time Perluigi Colina in charge of VAR, I don’t like it. Having seen it, and no-one clearly needs to agree with me, I’d definitely like to go back to the referee and referee’s assistants running the lines, calling it as they see it live. Put it this way, I’ve seen plenty of Willie Collum, and Willie Collum with VAR. It’s worse with VAR. I don’t enjoy my football as much, and would rather see it gone.
Playing devils advocate. Would you enjoy games more if we actually got the decisions that we should of had?
We tend to be on the wrong end of decisions more often than not.
The ugly sisters appear to get more VAR decisions going for them than anyone else.

It is the St Mirren way that we will lose on Saturday

Dreadful performances from both teams.
We looked like a team of random guys who had met in the pub half an hour before K.O.
We took about three touches to control the ball and were slower than a week in jail going forward.
For all that we were the better team, bar the first 25 minutes or so.
I thought the only player in the starting XI who got pass marks was Hemming, simply because he had virtually nothing to do!
Both Baccus and Olusanya played well when they came on.
I was more annoyed with our abject performance that the tit on VAR missing the penalty.
I'm sort of resigned to VAR ruining the game in some way every time we play. Whether it's a dodgy decision or making us wait to celebrate a goal. It can GTF!
Thought Hemming could have done better at the goal. He went to ground far to easily. No pass marks from me

Time to get Olusanya in the side more often. He offers more than some do. He divides our fans a bit but he is improving.
VAR decision still sticks in my throat. We seem to be on the wrong end all the time.
If that was the ugly sisters there would be outrage.
Disappointed with the result as County really didnt lay a glove on us. Their best chance was a gifted goal.

Rank performance. Early goal seemed to knock the stuffing out of us. Take the point though.
I'd give Olusanya a new contract by the way. Bringing him off the bench is like chucking a hand grenade on. He always creates problems.
I thought we were off it from the kick off. Slack passing all over the park. Tanser had the form of last season.
We were devoid of energy and composure. Simply not good enough. Killie would not drop the points we do.
Right now I would bite your hand off for 5th. We wont get 4th losing points to Livi and County.

I know he’s rusty but James Scott hasn’t shown anything yet since signing IMO and that was a really bad miss.
Would cancel that 2 year deal

County offered nothing. Gift of a goal. We never got going. 2 points pissed down the drain. Too many off it. Our inability to beat lesser teams costs us big time.

We have seen this movie before. Large support travels expecting a win only to lose an early goal and game over.
I hope we win but I have the fear
