  1. Actually have been on a flight, dalaman to glasgow where some lovely people threatened to ‘take the fucking heid aff’ one of the cabin crew and had to intervene. Didnt need to restrain them or anything, just a simple ‘sit down and shut up’ and thankfully they got huckled at the airport. Apparently it wasnt anyone else’s problem that they were smoking on the plane. I think flying brings out the worst in people, some feel really nervous and some think they need to drink like a fish or something. Dunno if folk remember that film ‘the fifth element’ but there was a bit where the characters got on a spaceship and the done thing was to knock people out for the duration of the flight, cant help but think that should be looked at. So anyway, to actually answer your question, you can actually use force to assist at the request of the captain/cabin crew, same as on the street. But yes, it can go very wrong. There are certain flights i would never get on based on the behaviour of people on them.
  2. Uft superb news, well done Matt Bamford/pott and the board for getting that done!
  3. Look i think there comes a time in every fathers life where a cross roads of either staying and doing the dad thing or completely abandoning your kids to compete in the underground breakdance circuit will arise. I dont blame this guy.
  4. Worst pizza i ever had was in the airport in Naples. My underrated food is Bruschetta, toasted good quality bread, olive oil, amazing italian tomatoes, flakes of sea salt and a drizzle of fantastic balsamic vinegar. Honestly so simple but perfect. Overrated food- mushroom pakora.
  5. Beginning to think Rhubarb doesnt like Clydebank.
  6. Majors?lol Ok Tiger Woods. We dont play at junior level.
  7. Not much chance of Glenafton winning much though, you could play in a league with 1 team and probably mess it up. Anyway, not a big follower of the junior cup but hopefully Talbot absolutely pump Darvel.
  8. Usually followed by ‘sensationally blasted’.
  9. The issues with too many forces in the states is clear, but school police depts should be drilled in what to do in these circumstances, they are supposed to drill for them and senior officers are supposed to know their role in the situation and unfortunately its not to jump about and be the hero when there are dozens of other police officers present, he failed to ensure he had appropriately functioning equipment, it was a failure of leadership, he failed to step back and coordinate allowing it to descend into chaos. He absolutely should be prosecuted. I know my role in the event of a major incident, he should have done his correctly and also ensured his department had functioning radios suitable for purpose.
  10. Im sorry but i disagree with you, the up chief was the most senior officer at the locus, unless its claimed elsewhere that means given its his jurisdiction that its his ball. Granted i work in a different area, but as a supervisor if i go to something then its clear as to who is in charge and thats something that you have to be able to be answerable to your decisions. That idiot went to that school to play at big shot and was overwhelmed, his inaction led to children being killed. My understanding is the tactic is the same in the US as it is in the UK, that active shooters should be engaged and stopped, he failed to do that and actively prevented capable police officers from doing so. You can hear the shots going on as he holds the containment. It was despicable. Sometimes you find yourself in situations where you’re terrified, but he was a shitebag and should be locked up. Another one who loved the title ‘police chief’ but failed to do his duty.
  11. Yes numbers can be spoofed very easily and is something that happens quite a lot. Also, please for the love of f**k can people stop sending money to people on facebook market place for things, almost every single hour there is a scam on it, concert tickets for gigs popular with the younger folks are the biggest earners. One gig at a Glasgow venue had something like 500 people attend with fake tickets.
  12. Fwiw the person who acted as commander for that incident should absolutely imo be charged as criminally culpable, that whole incident was despicable.
  13. No i mean anyone with a brain cell can see that groundsharing is a good idea for clubs, you’re just so bitter that every single post is a dig at Clydebank in some way, honestly i love it, you could be on the politics forum posting about Brexit or something and still feel the need to blame Clydebank for it.
  14. Hahahahahhahahahhaha youre an absolute seething mess, honestly please never change.
  15. You fucked the lowland league playoffs by letting your team go on a stag do, we could all do with a bit less pontificating from you on unprofessional clubs etc.
  16. So engage old firm fans with friday night kick offs and to hell with the hundreds who follow clubs all year round on a saturday?
  17. Yes apparently had the staff come and tell her all the gossip going on about Balmoral etc.
  18. You know the difference between Holm Park and your head? Well Clydebank pay rent for Holm Park… Honestly man yer obsessed.
  19. I definitely think we wouldnt play in the junior cup, purely to annoy you.
  20. Dont tend to watch these programs but tbh i think its fair enough to put them on the telly and let folk see that there is significant scrutiny applied. I did see the footage online of the mental health call and felt disgusted. Cant speak to much else of it as like i said i dont watch these shows, but yeh if someone screws up in a criminal manner then they deserve the consequences, however some times people make mistakes and I think the pressures and demands can be relentless so i can in some ways empathise with people who make mistakes, but mistreating people or abusing people isnt a mistake and should see people held to account. Conversely you had a Member of Parliament leading a social media pile on against a BME Met cop who had had a palestine sticker stuck on his jacket without his knowledge, calling him unfit for office and demanding he be sacked etc with absolutely no idea that the sticker was put on him without his knowledge, the kind of reactionary stuff just kills you.
  21. Yeh good point, i just thought maybe they saw a mass at the bladder when in looking at the prostate but that makes sense. Yep, the stuff they find in screening is pretty incredible, the beatson is an incredible place, how they can treat some cancers is incredible, my old man given 6-8 months october 2022 saved by a guy using radiography to send a tiny bit of chemo through his veins to cut the blood supply to a liver tumour, how they can do these things is beyond amazing.
