  1. That is what’s known in the industry as a ‘Telt’.
  2. Mathematically impossible. But id settle for 10 years.
  3. 4:1 bankies, Callum Graham has finally cracked it!
  4. I cant lie i think its really funny how wound up you are getting about all of this.
  5. See if folk hate us as much as they go on about on this forum, why tf are they so bothered if we play in the sjfa cup or not? Who cares? Our fans dont want the club we own to compete in the sjfa cup, simple as that, some will want this because they dont like the sjfa, some will see it as something thats not in the financial interest of the club, some will see it as unnecessary games in an already long season. Our fans all have different views and opinions on things, my own view isnt that we are ‘better’ or ‘look down on’ the sjfa, just simply not something i want my club to be involved in, again if people want their clubs to compete then i hope they have a brilliant time doing so and stop worrying about other clubs priorities.
  6. But apparently because Clydebank have decided they dont want to be involved with the sjfa we’re the bad guys?lol. Cmon man.
  7. Its not beneath us, we just dont want to play in it. See the same way some people on here go ‘oh id hate to see my team promoted into the Lowland League’ well our fans have the right to not want our club to play in a voluntary cup which may actually cost us money to take part in. We are constantly reminded on here that we arent in the club with all the other ‘traditional’ teams yet we are sneered at when we go ‘ok we wont be in your club then, thanks’. We had some good times in the juniors and some very bad times, I for one am glad we had the time there we did and wish anyone who wants to remain a member of the sjfa all the very best. I really hope the teams who compete have a great time doing so and fill the final with fans.
  8. Im sorry but ive known Grace and Matt for over 20 years, two people who love football, who are really decent people, with the community at their heart and imo excellent administrators of a football club. Your wee attacks are actually ridiculous. I dont know what your actual problem with them is, because any attempt to rationalise it on here so far has been utterly pathetic.
  9. I for one am shocked, if only there were signs.
  10. I agree Scotland is becoming an increasingly shite place to live.
  11. Well after an underwhelming performance last saturday beaten only by the Willy Wonka Experience down the road in terms of disappointment im hoping the Bankies can get things back on track and get right into Darvel. Always a difficult place to go and play football with that pitch and what not but hopefully we can get 3 points.
  12. Mixed feelings indeed, shes doing a very terrible job of complaining that the cost of living has risen. But you have to consider that as a middle class person living in the south of England that given these people have a tendency to vote tory/lib dem then they have got what they voted for. Save me the avocado pish, but yes mortgages, eating out and entertainment for kids is a rip, i recently attended a willy wonka exhibit in Glasgow and things were so bad the kids only got a 1/4 cup of lemonade and a manic oompa loompa giving out 1 flump per group.
  13. Aye should go back to playing on red ash pitches with whippet tracks round the sides. Thems the good old days.
  14. Yet your post directly above this one says they should. Honestly you’re not even a decent troll. For a Darvel fan who supposedly doesnt like Talbot you sure sound more like a Talbot fan than a Darvel fan. Just happened to be in an area reserved for committee members and saw Clydebank had the audacity to bring a bottle of champagne to a cup final (ooh those bad people), what are run of the mill ‘darvel’ fans doing in there? Honestly pathetic. Did Matt Bamford unfriend you on myspace or something? anyway, you should give us your opinion on groundsharing and Clydebank because honestly its not clear if you’re in favour of them or not? Stop being so vague and just be very clear.
  15. Lol! But yes, i honestly feel Truss’ actions should be viewed as misconduct in public office through sheer incompetence. If a doctor fucked up as much they’d be struck off, if a policeman did it they’d be imprisoned, why is there no accountability for politicians?
  16. Good luck recovering it from some of the folks that are responsible. I often wish id taken the chance i had to do my APL but didnt, but then i think about the possibility of flying the ryanair glasgow to ibiza flight in the height of summer and suddenly glad i didnt.
  17. Oh actually a lot of the time they just get ‘interrogated’ by the local police and fined. Whats actually interesting is the UK approach to stuff from airlines, good example being the canadian pilot who was drunk in charge of the plane, fucker had to stay in Scotland until his trial.
  18. Actually have been on a flight, dalaman to glasgow where some lovely people threatened to ‘take the fucking heid aff’ one of the cabin crew and had to intervene. Didnt need to restrain them or anything, just a simple ‘sit down and shut up’ and thankfully they got huckled at the airport. Apparently it wasnt anyone else’s problem that they were smoking on the plane. I think flying brings out the worst in people, some feel really nervous and some think they need to drink like a fish or something. Dunno if folk remember that film ‘the fifth element’ but there was a bit where the characters got on a spaceship and the done thing was to knock people out for the duration of the flight, cant help but think that should be looked at. So anyway, to actually answer your question, you can actually use force to assist at the request of the captain/cabin crew, same as on the street. But yes, it can go very wrong. There are certain flights i would never get on based on the behaviour of people on them.
