I think they did intend to hit her and mis-identified her as a police officer. From the cctv images her outfit from a distance looks like a bullet proof vest/police stab vest etc. That plus her proximity to a police car reinforces this. Heres the image, from the back clearly a white hoody underneath a black jacket, from the front could be easily confused with a PSNI uniform at such a distance.

On Paris, been a few times, Charles De Gaulle airport is shite, horrible. But we enjoyed walking around places like Sacre Coure (sorry if my spelling is pish), Louvre and the wee neighbourhoods around Paris are awesome. It was hard finding good places to eat where we stayed but ultimately that was our fault for not researching it enough. Took our wee guy to Eurodisney in January and for the value for money (4 nights in hotel, park tickets, flights and all our food =£800) was excellent and we really enjoyed the parks, especially in the snow. There are some shitty parts of Paris but there are far more in London etc. The french people are decent so long as you give a bit of french a go (ordering food/asking for the bill and general basic stuff), they appreciate you trying. Id say London is my most disappointing city, Edinburgh close second.

Just out of interest, where in the SoS is a 5/6 hour drive from Glasgow? Glasgow to Dumfries is a 1hr 19min drive. I agree though that having a WOSL covering tier 6 would hopefully balance out travel. I genuinely think that only a few sosl teams would take up any promotion etc into it.

The ground is owned by the council but leased to an independent company which will take charge of maintenance and improvements etc. So hopefully this means all will be done properly!

Definitely! I couldnt agree more. The top teams should form a LLwest and LLeast as a way to form consensus, a 16 team league with 2/3 relegation spaces, top eosl/ersjfa team from each conference and play off with second place, same with west!

In terms of damage limitation the ersjfa should join the eosl and just admit that its for the best.

I think that’s what everyone would hope to retain. You only have to look at the soulless grounds in the spfl to understand why it puts fans off. I mean ideally i’d like there to be a seated stand (obviously that’s years away) and for it to be a quality ground, but still retain the character its got.
