I don’t think he’s wrong. I’ve been an avid reader of this forum since it’s inception and there’s much less discussion than there used to be. The reputation system has been a poor introduction in my opinion as lots of threads get derailed and spoiled by folk spouting pish desperate for likes.

I trust my judgement and headcounting it’s something I’ve done for over thirty years on behalf of Rob Roy and more recently Linlithgow since I moved there and can’t get to Rob Roy as often. For avoidance of doubt it’s telling from the young boys video highlights and guys on the Linlithgow thread voicing concerns over the falling attendances. Could just be a case of people still being on holiday and attendances picking up over the forthcoming weeks but the hacker boys guesstimates seemed exaggerated. I get backing your team but kind of spoils the point of this thread a little bit.

I’m not sure if this is poor counting or silly exaggerations but I’ve been to most of the Rose games so far and I’d suggest just over 200 at best this season but averaging a bit lower.

I’ve been along to quite a few linlithgow games over the past 3 seasons. (married a linlithgow lass and moved). There is no danger you have at least 300 there on a saturday though unless a bonnyrigg or a boness are in town or it’s the junior cup or big scottish. I was also baffled at the attitudes of the rose fans we spoke to at the cup game that said they wouldn’t be back this season once out the big scottish and junior cup because the league means nothing.

I’ve had the misfortune to meet Nicholas at a function years back. He is hands down the worst after dinner speaker I have ever seen. All ME ME ME.
