Obviously the Dark Side are back in the same league as us next season so done some digging re derby fixtures from the past as knew there was an imbalance. The top 6/bottom 6 split has been on the go since 00/01 season which means there's only 3 Derbies guaranteed. In this time, there's been 9 times when Dundee and Utd have been in the top flight together. As a side note, when Celtic and Rangers and Hibs and Hearts have been in the same league, its been alternated every season re who gets the 1st home game.(which therefore guarantees 2 home games).

In seasons 00/01 & 14/15 Dundee have been at home first. In the other 7 seasons(01/02,02/03,03/04,04/05,12/13,15/16 and 21/22)Utd have been at home.7 seasons out of 9.

The other season we played in the same division(Championship in Covid season of 19/20),Utd also had 2 home to our 1.(albeit this couldn't be helped, although you would think the next time we were in the same league they would redress the balance.2 years later we were and they never).

If this was happening in the 2 other derbies there would be uproar as these games are the biggest earners for both clubs.About time our board grew a set and pointed this out as it's a big deal.Got a feeling it'll be Utd at home first again next season due to the pitch shenanigans.

United will get the 2 guaranteed home fixtures against us as per usual. Our board should be questioning it but they won't.

Look we know Dens is in a real state but IMHO there is no way that it should fail a pitch inspection tomorrow and with no deluge forecast the game should 100% go ahead at Dens on Wednesday. If it's moved to Perth then other forces are at play here.

I think the pitch will be playable for Wednesday night but the sfa won't take the risk and the match will be moved to Perth to make sure the match is definitely played and won't be called off on the day again. Rangers will no doubt be pushing for this too.

    Anybody else seen this?

Sent to me by a genuine friend of mine who is a director of another Scottish football club.

He is not saying that it’s definitely true, he doesn’t know. Personally I think it’s shite.

It's a dab on twitter on the wind up apparently.. They're absolutely hating how well we are doing as top dogs in the city.

They can't recall him outside the window.

He was asked that and this was his response.

According to the Premier League Handbook 2022/231, a player registered on a standard loan may be recalled by his parent club outside the transfer window. However, there are some conditions that must be met for this to happen:

The loan must be for a period covering at least the whole of the period between two transfer windows.

The recall clause must be included in the terms of the loan when it is registered with the Premier League.

The recall can only take effect during a transfer window and notice must be given to the Premier League and the Football Association before noon on the last working day before the window opens.

You'll not be successful, not because that's the right decision, but rather they're incompetent. You'd have thought a pre-season of learning the rules and how to utilise VAR correctly would have helped the referees, but no if anything they're getting worse.

Spot on sadly.. no way it will get overturned

Doc said Beck and Robinson should hopefully be back for Wednesday. The fact we've given Pineda #11 instead of the #9 pretty much shows we're not done signing up front, and Doc's already stated we're still busy in the transfer market.

Thanks mate. Glad to hear it's not a serious injury for Robinson.
