I watched him against Linlithgow this season and is more of a 10 than a winger. Looked a tidy player but certainly not the quickest on that showing. It gives Dumbarton another option to play off Ruth, Ryan Wallace isn't the most reliable fitness wise, and he's certainly a different type to what you have. Should do enough to cement 5th place anyway.

18 months for Rusty has blown my mind. I was sure he would just be at the game last week as it was local to him so I am utterly astounded he's been tied up for 18 months at a senior club. The mildly amusing thing being he is probably better than Jobber Skelly.

I'm pretty sure Dumbarton will have a sport scientist similar to ourselves. I can't remember the specific sweet stuff our lads have after games but it's pretty much par for the course as advised by the sports scientist and will be similar across the board. I may be scarred from Craig Bryson but I'm not overly convinced about this one. Good name on paper but he hasn't played since May? His main attribute was his rapid pace I can't see him still having that at pushing 33 and with bad injuries behind him. If he was still at the level he has operated at most of his career and has a lot to offer still then why is he going to Peterhead in League 2? Let's see how it goes but I wouldn't be overly surprised if this bombed.

Anyone who genuinely thinks the Jones one is a penalty just simply doesn't understand the game. It's a ridiculous decision but comes as no surprise due to how inept the officials are at this level. Christ, even Robert Jones himself is taking the piss out of the decision on Twitter. That tells you all you need to know.

Russell lives locally so I doubt it will be anything more than just taking in a local game. He's done at senior level I think. Currently on trial at Bo'ness I believe.

Give the man a Alan Pardew style 9 year contract. He's been brilliant this season. Really has put some consistency together in this magical run of games but it's his work rate that's really shone through as well. He works tirelessly for the team and is the real epitome of what we are all about - quality and hard work.

Didn't think you were that bad today lads but by the same token I make you favourite for bottom spot. Showed nothing first half and we should have killed the game but second half you played for set plays and it just about paid off. Clyde will obviously improve. Elgin look like they already have done so. It's very difficult to see how Uncle Ray and the gang are going to offer over and above those two teams at this minute with such a dull, beige collection of players. Forfar feel like a club destined for the drop. No structure or idea on how to compete at this level currently. The signing policy is all wrong. More babies on loan from above and it's game over.

Jobber O'Neil has been on the free agent list on SPFA website since the start of the season has he not? Can just picture Uncle Faz stumbling across the page online, after pittin the lottery numbers oan, and thinking he's the absolute boy for getting this one over the line. Long live Uncle Faz!

Rodden seems like a sensible fit for us. Good egg and hard worker who can give us an option from the bench once Matty Aitken has ran his race.

It's wild the amount of Clyde fans who criticise Ross Lyon but call him Lyons in the process.

All hail The King! Been a revelation for us really and another one nailed down for next season. Our main strength is our togetherness and collective will so the more the merrier to keep this band together and let them have a go in League One if/when it happens.

Humphries is a bit of a wet lettuce but to win 4 of the last 5 majors in this era where the top players are so evenly matched takes some doing. Proper player and with that easy style of his he should stay among the top players for years to come. It doesn't really matter who goes in the Premier League anymore it's just so dull I don't think darts fans are really arsed with it at all.

I just watch on mute due to Mardle and the crowd. It's unbearable most of the time. This is insane from Littler. Cross has been unbelievable himself and can't lay a glove on the lad.

There are games on in the top two divisions as, apart from Arbroath, that is their full time jobs. Your doubt about many normal people working today is probably wrong. There will be many people working today certainly I know more people working today than those who aren't. The idea of rearranging your game at Stranraer for tomorrow in such a short time frame was silly. Time to move on mate.

Unless Uncle Ray has some decent signings lined up this week then I see no reason why we don't go 10IAR this Saturday. Forfar are a powder puff outfit and we are better than them all over the park - the game really comes down to how we are between the ears and not so much in the legs. Switch ourselves on mentally and there should only be one outcome. The team picks itself with Lynch and Taylor not available. Slightly lacking in options from the bench but I wouldn't be overly surprised to see an attacking option signed along with Jacobs in time for the game. Stenhousemuir 3-0 Forfar. O'Reilly and Yates adding to a mandatory Matty Aitken brace.

That would probably make absolutely no sense. Most likely have boys back at work tomorrow with no chance of arranging time off on ridiculously short notice. While I'm here I would like to wish Uncle Faz a Happy New Year and to continue his good work into 2024.
