Aye absolutely this. Really pissed me off when people I knew (almost exclusively Old Firm fans) kept telling me how funny Kyle and Slane were on their podcast. "Some of the stories they tell about when they were at your club are very funny". f**k off. As you say, both were fucking wage thieves and were symptomatic of the kind of charlatans the club attracted at that point. Openly talking about how much "fun" it was at Ayr then, how much of a good time they had - Slane even laughing about deliberately getting sent off in a game to prove a point. p***k. It wasn't remotely funny, it was an absolute shitshow. Arseholes that don't know what they're talking about. The popularity of that open goal podcast thing in general is a complete mystery to me tbh.

Some of the names mentioned above I had genuinely tried to put out of my mind. Some truly atrocious players filling spaces in completely mediocre (third tier) teams. Kevin McKinlay....

Malaga is a great city. As others have pointed out it's not overly touristy but is filled with great places to visit, or is decent for just chilling as well. Good train and bus connections around the place to other local towns / resorts if you're stuck for things to do on any days.

Just back from a few days in Valencia, a beautiful city. Really loved the place and will probably go back at some point. Highly recommend to anyone who has never been.

Either way, while both mentioned above are shite, Fitzpatrick was excellent that night - seemed to have a very good end to the season. What a daft thing to do. Find the general response to this to be ridiculous and OTT. Migrant boat sinks in the Med with literally hundreds of lives lost and you're lucky if it stays in the news for 1 day and hardly anyone questions the lack of support or help for the vessel. Some mad billionaire c**t and his mates jump in a submersible operated by a playstation controller, it all goes tits up, and it dominates the news cycle for days, with countless resources out to try and find it.
