  1. Got to be interested surely big dominant centre back definitely better than what we’ve got in my opinion
  2. Don’t know about anyone else but an e mail popped up in my system from the club good information, with a statement from the chairman, has worked with me I’ll be in shortly to renew my season ticket
  3. Drinnan is named in this seasons Ipswich squad on there web site the other two .
  4. Looks to me like it’s loan signings we’re getting to finish the squad and they can be complicated and that’s the reason for hold up and I feel they are coming from down south more complicated.
  5. Based on what I’ve seen tonight I don’t think either player will be building on there experiences at Ross County, and as I’ve said based on the cash it was a no brainer forHarvey , he will be the same unless he’s gonna displacethe c.ub captain there
  6. Have to agree with last comment, I met a Hamilton fan when he signed and he was really disappointed his club didn’t resign him and said we were really lucky to get him, so boy must have had a niggling injury best of luck to the boy.
  7. The railway yard and the car park are going to be houses, planning application for in some time ago, was owned by Kirkwood one of our silent directors who does he haw for the club and his has been sold of for housing.
  8. I agree it’s quite simple, I didn’t take a refund and the man thanked us for it, support the club or shut up moaning about the cost, I’ll be buying my season, can anyone on here post the same.
  9. I see the left back at MK Dons has signed a new contract and is the club captain, so i don’t think Harvie is gonna be first choice, mind you the average weekly salary is 3k there so that will probably soften sitting on the bench.
  10. The boy Zannatta is a very good bit of business, tore us apart at thistle until they went into melt down with sending offs definitely a good attacking threat when on the ball.
  11. Had a look at the housing plan for the car park and railway areas, and they come right up to that boundary, The club may have bought some ground off that plan otherwise I don’t see any car parking areas which might impact on those plans
  12. What happened to the club announcement we were promised this week, did I miss it?
  13. I walk my dog over the ground regularly, it has been surveyed and pegged ready for development a while back, guysdoing the surveying said it was for housing.
  14. Zanatta or Cadden is exactly what we are looking for, preference Cadden but I’m sure we won’t be able to afford either.
  15. Docherty was doubling his wages to go to thistle and could have gone in January but wanted to stay to finish the season, if possible I would keephim Geggan love him but sorry legs have gone and injury after injury Moore Marks first mistake don’t know why he gave him a contract, injury after injury. Bell, good cover no more Murdoch, def a gamble but might pay off after his injury Big striker from Ipswich def aye perfect for this league Harvie def a player who has proved me wrong think he’ll be away though
  16. Will the furlough scheme only apply to players on contracts ,and will it still be paying players after May when there contracts would have expired like all other clubs?
  17. So enough of the past where do we stand with squads for when football starts, a lot of players now out of contract about time we started building a squad. cant imagine the players will be on furlough past there contracts or maybe not?
  18. Had a quick look the other night and the pitch looks lush and perfect, so groundsman must be maintaining the pitch, just as we are at the nearby bowling club working alone. Bowling clubs spend a lot of money getting there greens ready for the season and not to maintain it once a week would be disastrous for the green.
  19. The club have clearly already said previously they can manage even though there would be no income from the home games that were left so your point about coming out of furlough and it’s effect has been taken into consideration, irrelevant any way as Cameron has made his statement on national papers and I disagree with it entitled to my opinion football integrity out the window.
  20. Shocking and completely disagree with Cameron’s decision this whole league programme needs played out in the fairness of sport. German league reported to be starting training next week and no reason why we can’t be doing the same by end of May, get games played starting June Behind closed doors Monday Wednesday Saturday with whatever squad you’ve got and it will be finished end June , forget about the cups and see how things are in July if the play offs are possible .
  21. I’m glad a lot of people are on the same wave length as me about Moore, apart from his first season he has been shocking in his performances and fitness has been stealing money, don’t know what Kerr was thinking extending his contract got too go down as Kerrs howler. Maybe just me but I’ve never seen anything apart from that first season. They’re is absolutely no one queuing up for him the rumours of Partick were way wide of the mark before January his old pal at Partick done the trick for him.
  22. On a more relevant topic what is the impact financially to our club does anyone know. I’m assuming 4home games with a projected loss of 500 walk in customers and averaging the cash loss at £ 20 across the board is 10 k per game x4 40 k and say plus 10k for hospitality overall about 50 k, is that gonna be a big problem or enough to sink us?
  23. As I said ballot and no claim from me as a season ticket holder and most fans considering the scenario we are in, also might see a surge in Ayr United media to watch live on line.
  24. So if it’s no more gatherings of 500 then make the games all ticket 500 half a loafs better than nothing as they say will probably suit all the leagues except the self interested premier league mob.
