  1. We didn't do enough to win the game today. However, the only 2 people in the ground who never saw the blatant handball were the referee and the linesman. Had we got a draw from what should have been a pen, I'm sure it wouldn't have been grudged.
  2. Performance was slightly better this week compared to recent weeks however, two terrible goals to lose. We'll certainly have to up our game for the last 2 games. Alloa have done us a favour so let's grab it, get to the play offs then gub them in the final.
  3. Big game for us tomorrow but not going into it with a lot of optimism. Since beating Alloa and Cove, performances have been dire (although unlucky last week). Hopefully SP has booted some ass since Tuesday night. Those dropped 3 points could well come back to haunt us. Accies have more than secured second place but is it too early to start resting players in preparation for the play offs. Will be watching this with one eye on the proceedings at Cove. Not sure what result suits us best. An Alloa win secures their play off place. If Cove win and we win then we are all within a couple of points. Cove have the easiest run in where Alloa have the hardest with Accies and Falkirk to play. However, main thing is, we have to win. Its in our own hands.
  4. Four seasons in one day there played in a hooley. Unfortunately, the wind was the winner. Both teams had their spells on top but I think we had three guilt edge chances that should have nicked all 3 points. A massive improvement from our last 3 games and, we are both winners with Cove slipping up again. Big game for you guys next week. A win should secure your play off place.
  5. Since beating you guys 4-3 and scudding Cove, we've been dire. A fortunate draw at home to Annan, dire performance at Stirling and I won't mention Falkirk. I think Alloa are a shoe in for one of the play off places although they've got a tough run in. Big game for us. Hope Watson is fit because we really some grit in midfield.
  6. That was embarrassing. Just as well we done a guard of honour. It was the only time we got near them all night. Far too lightweight in midfield.
  7. That was embarrassing from our point of view. Without Watson or Masson we are lightweight in midfield. No one to put the foot in. Congrats Falkirk.
  8. Hey, we need the points more than you. You can have your party next week. To be honest, if we play anything like we have in the last 2 games, you can start celebrating now.
  9. C'mon the Mo. Let's ruin this bairns party.
  10. Possibly one of the worst games of football I've seen in my life. Both teams were very poor, the Mo slightly poorer. Only bit of skill seen on the day resulted in the goal. Stirling deserved the win. Bit of shit housery at the back of the stand though. We were pelted with stones throughout the second half by young bawbags outside.
  11. Hopefully keep our unbeaten run going but we'll have to be a whole lot better than we were last week. It's our away form that's got us where we are in the league. Only 3 away defeats so far and all by 1 goal. Optimistic that we can keep it going to keep pushing for a play off place. Hoping for a good crowd down from the Mo.
  12. That was a point gained rather than 2 lost. We started brightly, hitting the woodwork 3 times in the first 20 minutes. It went down hill after that. Annan bullied us all over the park (not a knock at them, they used it well). A special mention for the referee who was absolutely brutal, abley assisted by the stand side linesman. Between them, they didn't have a clue, equally abysmal for both teams. Summed up when Machedo was flagged offside after receiving the ball from an Annan defender. Finally, a mention for young Balfour who apparently had a very nasty injury whilst kicking about at half time. Hopefully not as bad as first thought.
  13. Now that the dust has settled after the novelty of the live TV match, the controversial non-penalty and the fantastic second half performance, its time to come back down to earth. We've got two massive games ahead of us that could define our season. Two very hard games against our closest rivals for the play off places. It's getting down to the nitty-gritty time so let's get behind SP and the team.
  14. Well, can hardly argue with any of the penalty/free kick decisions.
  15. Ref is giving us nothing here. Not content with not giving the most blatant penalty/ red card, he's continuing to give us feck all
  16. After the slating the ref got earlier in this thread, he certainly done you a favour here. Red all day long.
  17. I believe he's in a very secure job in the finance sector. It would be a risk for him to go into full time management where success isn't guaranteed and sackings are far too regular.
  18. You guys happy with a point, we'd be happy with a point. Let's just call it a draw and move on to Saturday.
  19. We made hard work of that. Looked comfortable at 2-0 but as said above, lost our shape with all the changes. When Kelty got it back to 2-2, it looked like there was only going to be one winner and it wasn't us. A good win at the end of the day. Gardyne MOM by a country mile.
  20. Totally agree. Away form is excellent. We haven't lost away from home in the league since mid November and only lost 3 games so far, to the 3 teams above us and all by 1 goal. Home form, on the other hand, is woeful. We haven't won a league game at home since the 7th of October and that was a last gasp winner against Alloa. Does our style of play suit Away games where maybe the home team open up a bit more and we can exploit them. Our next 2 games are at home and we really need to win them to keep the others at bay and to have a realistic push for the play offs. I hope SP is busy scouring the loan market because the squad is looking a bit stretched just now. We'll need a stronger squad if the play offs are our target.
  21. We know our level in the pyramid system. Every other team that has dropped into the "cesspit" have bounced back within a year or two. Partick, Pars, Raith Rovers, Airdrie have all bounced back. Your lot have becone stagnent in the cesspit.
  22. From a Mo point of view, a real game of 2 halves. Could have had a couple in the first half. Could still be playing second half and not scored yet. Injuries and suspensions really told today so SP has a bit of work to do in the transfer window. Bino players certainly used every trick in the book to waste time near the end. Clear dive by Lyons and deserved his booking. He could be so much better a player if he doesn't look for a foul all the time.
  23. Not sure what team we'll be able to put out tomorrow but between suspensions, injuries and the loss of a couple of loanees, it could be pretty depleted. Maybe a chance for young Hermiston to make a name for himself. Looks like big Kerr could be out for a while so the defence is pretty threadbare. Hope SP gets busy in the transfer window or it could be a frustrating second half of the season. Still hope for a narrow win for the Mo. 2-1 home win.
