  1. Well he can be quite snappy. And you have not " done the maths on this." You may have carried out the arithmetic.
  2. Indeed. North Lanarkshire Leisure forced Clyde's hand in deciding who the club could select to play.
  3. How will you ensure the balance on your season ticket will be donated to the Red Cross ? I understood no refunds on ST balances would be made and all outstanding balances would go into the Club's coffers. Perhaps this wish was in the body of your email to the Club. A copy of your request would clarify this.
  4. Mmm. Not too keen on the overuse of, "Interesting".
  5. You said, "Probably best to just stop this now." I agreed. Yet you carried on. Perhaps you have some form of "Last Word Syndrome"? Best to stop this now.
  6. Oh all right. If you say so. Clearly you speak for others too.
  7. I take it you do not consider Danny Lennon is a member of the recruitment team.
  8. An excellent point. What were our recruitment team thinking? With that in mind, let's ask that same question regarding a number of other signings in the optimistic summer of '21.
  9. All or 50%? Big difference. Which charity did you suggest? Would the money not be better used to strenghten the squad with a couple of quality loanees? Then, as you clearly have a connection with the Board, you most likely know the amount Raith Rovers paid. Would it be sufficient to enable such "signings"?
  10. I was sure Lafferty had signed for Kilmarnock. Interesting.
  11. Is Howie enjoying his time at Alloa? He was keen to have a spell in a team not fighting off the threat of relegation so left Clyde. How's that going for you, Craig?
  12. Is that a statement, unfinished sentence or a question? Difficult to tell without punctuation.
  13. Why tell me what I clearly knew? Why use "Director" in your earlier posts?
  14. Far be it from me to attempt to correct anybody. However, Clyde F.C. employ a Head of Football Operations. I believe that's the person to whom you are referring.
  15. "Harbinger" you say. You should, perhaps, confirm the definition of words before you use them in future. Still, interesting.
  16. Well, if you were able to follow the thread properly, you may not need to use to consecutive posts to come to an incorrect conclusion. I wished to clarify the post which claimed Goodwillie had been a subject of serious interest prior to signing for Clyde. I received a response which was relevant to his contract extension in January 2020. I'd still like to know which full-time clubs were interested before March 2017. (as suggested in the original post) Why don't you expand on your phrase, " the very real proposal that Goodwillie could be leaving us soon."? Danny Lennon has in effect said "hands off". Is DL wrong?
  17. That may well be so. However, I was referring to the contract he signed on 31st March, 2017, an amateur deal until the end of that season. He signed his 3 year+ deal on 18th January 2020. So, back to my question, that it may be worthy of debate, as to who were the clubs showing serious interest before he signed in 2017.
  18. "Having been the subject of serious interest from full-time clubs in the preceding year", you say. Interesting. Between Jan 2017 and March 2017, Caledonian Amatuer League team, Doune Castle was able to sign Goodwillie, despite this "serious interest"? Worthy of debate as to just who these full-time clubs were showing, "serious interest".
  19. "Foie Gras and Caviar", you say. Interesting. Both very fine appetisers. One or the other but never both together. Accompanied by fine wines no doubt. Careful choices to be made regarding a suitable accompianment for each. What are you enjoying? Some potted hough and cod roe? Bag of Monster Munch? Accompanied by some Vitriolic Bile perhaps. Choose your drink carefully. Some leave a nasty aftertaste.
  20. "Owner". That is the correct use of scare quotes.
  21. An interesting comment. Let Graham Diamond deal with the January window. The sensible option.
