If that happens then no Kirkie for us next season and other transfer moves will stall pending us getting a new manager in. Many of the available players will have sorted themselves out leaving us with the dregs nobody wants. Not great timing but then again..... By the way, whatever happened to the boy Grant. I think you are spot on Waspie. Promotion meant the youngsters were not going to get game time as the manager showed a great reluctance to give them starts even when the forwards were off form and weren't scoring. As LeodhasXD alluded to, Cunningham has been scoring for fun at Clydebank as he did in the Reserves but you don't know what he can do in the first team unless you give him a run of games. With promotion that has now become a missed opportunity. Like you I have severe doubts and misgivings over the point of our Youth academy if players don't see a pathway to the first team.

So who do we all want to finish top? Or to put it another way, who do we all think we have the best chance of beating to get up to the Championship? There hasn't been much in it in all of the games between us and both teams. Personally I would rather take on Ayr as we have beaten them on their own patch and should have done so in the first game also but for a late, late goal. Close call though!

Tidy wee ground they have and a good artificial surface. Also an ideal location for both teams. It would be nice to see a few Wasps come along and cheer us on. I'm away that weekend on post season break but good luck to you and the guys. Bring the Cup home.

Just about got myself together now after pmsl at the Ayr fans meltdown on the game thread and some of the choice comments picked up on the highlights. Hope the guy is okay though because I thought he was having a heart attack at the missed penalty lol. Well then it looks like we will be going up against Dumbarton as I can't see Arbroath losing at QP. I was speaking to a friend who was at the Dumbarton game on Saturday and he said they were awful and fully expects Alloa to win the tie comfortably. If we keep up the spirit and determination we showed against Ayr then we could indeed do a Brechin (without the no win game season LeodhasXD). Crucial that we do not lose the game v Raith so that confidence remains high.

Can't get my head around why in earth Mulraney is putting his weight behind that to be honest. Scotland needs Hampden more than Murrayfield....despite our Scottish footballers being more adept to scoring between the posts but well over the bar!!!

Not great of late. He is a bit part player now and I think that is due to contract arrangements more than anything else. Better players brought in on loan during January has set him back down the pecking order.
