  1. Not much more to add beyond what has been said except I think Mcmann really should have buried his chance after what was a superb Ridgers save; just get it over the line, no need to try to burst the net. Thought we were decent enough, and comfy enough on the ball, but thought that Caley looked really dangerous on the break, which was clearly the game plan, and very nearly got the outcome they were looking for. Big Dunc has clearly made an impact, and given how tight the table is from 3rd to 10th, on that showing, no chance Caley will be down there for long. For me, given Raith’s draw at home, the frustration is around the missed opportunity to put some distance between us and them…. But as others have said, it could have been worse. Thought it was a good game.
  2. If it’s not broke, don’t fix it would be my take for now. Same starting 11, with plenty on the bench to be used when needed. Injury and suspension will give the others plenty of opportunities soon enough.
  3. Is anybody else having issues buying tickets for Saturday? I have registered using the link on the United website, but it only offers home tickets. I tried registering again under a different email with the same result… Never thought buying match tickets could be so complicated…… am I just being a complete fucking moron??? Any tips on how to register for away tickets would be much appreciated. Ta.
  4. Thanks. I am clearly being some kind of fucking moron here, because when I click on that it tells me I don’t have the privileges on my account to select a seat in the East stand and to select one I the West instead….. I tried registering againunder a different email with the same result….. Clearly something a simple as buying a match ticket is beyond me in this case….
  5. Hiya, Hope you can help. I am trying to buy tickets for the game on Saturday (Need my fucking head examined I know), but when I click on the link, and have registered with the Ticketmaster service, it is only offering me tickets in the West Stand. Is that not the home support end? I have tried calling and emailing Livi Fc without success so am appealing to the wisdom of P&B for help on this one? Thanks
  6. I think McCann’s enthusiasm for football possibly bubbled over today……. I’ll leave it at that.
  7. That is true, and I actually like Nicky Clark. He has scored some very important goals for the club since he came, and when he leaves, I will always believe he has been a good servant to United. Watt on the other hand has been great since he came in. It is not all about goals. He has had a number of class assists this season which have turned 1 point into 3 on more than one occasion, and anyone who is judging him just by goals scored is not looking at the bigger picture. This is not making pish excuses for a lower than expected goal scoring tally. Like all teams we have had our fair share of dross January signings. Watt is absolutely not one of them, and overall performance and results are noticeably poorer when he is not on the pitch.
  8. Just been fleeced 20 fucking quid to watch 22 guys skating about like Bambie on ice on a fucking plastic pitch. Robbing b*****ds!!!!!
  9. Looks like both sides of the street had a good day today. Enjoy your night. I have….
  10. I wasn’t there today so not sure if this issue was addressed today. Have noted the conspicuous complete absence of the Tam Courts’ Tangerine Army chant so far this season. If this is not ringing out of Tannadice at 3pm next Saturday, we should all have a right fucking good look at ourselves…..
  11. Now it’s your turn to repay the favour by pumping the Dees. Get it done…..
  12. Hibs to be awarded a penalty in the first minute due to the opposition having the cheek to turn up. After that Hibs coast to a routine 2-1, with a late United equaliser chalked off for Offside, despite Levitt beating the keeper with a long range effort from 3 yards inside his own half....
  13. Just what I was thinking too. We’ve had more added to that board in the last few months than we have had in the last 5 years or so…. Can only be a good thing for United.
  14. Great to see Niskanen get back on the pitch for Finland tonight, despite the result. ETA - Delighted with the Scotland result as well.
  15. Just for the avoidance of doubt and before I get my legal team involved, I just want to confirm that it is our good pal Fifespud to whom you are referring above as opposed to my good self???
  16. Still quite stunned that we managed to keep out such devastating firepower tbh…..
  17. Bump. Like a fine wine, this is definitely one of those posts that just gets better and better with age…..
  18. I think given the standards now being set, we should be looking at 4 points from the next 3 games as a decent prospect, but also, agree, if we take less than that, we should still be very happy with the start we have made to the season. I am for the first time since coming back up, daring to look up the league as opposed to down. Cue 3 pumpings to bring me right back down to Earth, such is the life of an Arab.
  19. Unfortunately next week you will be treated to the eye bleeding pish that is Scotland playing Israel (again) in its place. Not sure it is going to be much of an improvement on this week’s fare to be fair….
  20. United were very decent in the first half (and similar to the game in Paisley should have had 2 or 3 by half time)and pretty poor imho in the second, leaving the team hanging on and us all shiting ourselves for the best part of the second half. County defence was all over the place in the first half and we should have taken advantage more than we did, and can’t help but think Clark is somehow lacking in confidence. There has been a few times over the past few weeks he has tried to walk it into the net rather than shooting, (which he has proven many times that he is very good at). Fucking mental that we have scored 1 goal less than County this season yet are 11 points ahead of them, but goes to show the value of a solid defence. Was absolutely vital to win today imo. No point in a very credible draw away to Celtic if you can’t back it up with a win at home against a team struggling at the bottom. That they did and I am very impressed. A few more doubters perhaps won over again this week. P2BAA
  21. Fucking Hell, I wasn’t aware you could catch Covid on P&B, but based on the last page or 2, looks like it could be the case…… Sorry to hear you have been hit by it too, and great that you are you are on the mend Johnny. Hope your recovery continues apace, and you are back at Dens moaning at your team as soon as possible. Also hope you and the fermers play out an incredibly boring no score draw tomorrow.
  22. Going out on a limb here and predicting a resounding 1-0 victory for the Tangerines. Clark to get his first league goal of the season as a result of a penalty (that was never in a million years a fucking penalty). We are due one......
  23. That sounds horrendous T. Hope you and the others on here with the dreaded lurgy feel better soon, and are back supporting their teams noisily. I had Covid in August, causing me to miss the fucking Sevco game of all games. Avoided most of the main issues, just aches and pains and total fatigue for a few weeks. I also lost my sense of smell completely for about a week, and since it came back, I have had a constant smell of cigarette smoke in my nose which is a total pain in the arse, as I have never smoked in my life, and it doesn’t seem to be going away. Hopefully the boys can smash a few past County tomorrow to make you all feel better. Arabest
  24. Great shout, and unfortunately, all of the really decent play on display here from United was omItted from the Sportscene highlights. No complaints about that given time constrains limit what you can show, but didn’t do United’s attacking intent justice yesterday imo. Boy looks a player indeed….
