  1. https://www.afc.co.uk/2019/08/29/stevie-may-departs-pittodrie/?fbclid=IwAR1lnLHW5xL36WjiWiZoe3R7EwdfIYToQ9AETsfEir2XQAe18pRrX7GFCLo May officially gone. McInnes needs to take a fucking long hard look at himself with this shite. May was never a winger or lone striker and trying to play him as one was idiocy. Letting him go with less than two days of the window remaining and seemingly no replacement lined up is just stupid. Bet the rest of the support are creaming themselves with excitement at the prospect of Curtis Main up front this season
  2. Celtic should give Aberdeen a development fee for the way Ryan Christie is playing at the moment. Amazing what kids can do when they're given a proper run of games to try and help them settle into a team. McInnes gives them 5 mins at the end and complains about them not making an impact.
  3. Duncan Skinner Bookmakers Derek Young's Chinese Takeaway
  4. Exactly. He was decent for us. Cosgrove and Stockley up front would be like a living wet dream for McInnes.
  5. The St Johnstone fans on here are absolute dribblers. Seems like they spend more time on this thread than their own.
  6. We've rejected an £800k bid from Lazio for Cosgrove.
  7. He wasn't. His reputation - deserved or not - was a big part of why he left, and we got a decent fee for him. The refs up here had it in for him, as did the press. He scored a few goals for us including a couple of peaches, and he is infinitely better than Curtis Main.
  8. It's amazing how little has evolved in fifty years.
  9. First funeral I ever went to was when I was 7 years old. My friend Joe and his mum got a church minister round to have a funeral for Joe's hamster Scampi. I was too young to understand the hilarity of the situation, but it's one that i'll likely never forget! His mum was a total wid also, still is.
  10. Hopefully the last four games have shown the board that we desperately need to recruit more players before the window shuts. We are severely lacking at Centre back and Centre mid. Greig Leigh has been suspect over the last three legs and is a bit of a liability defensively, so a left back would be good also. The next two weeks are pivotal for McInnes' future here (if he has one) and the success of the team this season. It's sad that pretty much all of the early optimism has disappeared. The body language of pretty much the whole squad over the last few games (since McKenna's transfer request) suggests that all is not well in our changing room. We are badly needing a leader in the middle of the park to keep everyone on the same page with their heads up. Lewis is probably our best player, a great person and role model. It is near impossible for a keeper as captain to exert any pressure on the opposition/refs etc. Shinnie was always going to be tough to replace as a leader but Joe isn't the answer.
  11. Hope McInnes is bluffing, but if not it's time to play McGinn as a striker again. He's a proven goalscorer and we have plenty cover on either flank. Main looks woeful and turns like a boat, May is impotent and Wilson is either unfit or disinterested (although only getting 10 mins at the weekend was a farce).
  12. We just got beat by a team managed by Jim f*cking Goodwin. A team that couldn't beat East Kilbride. I hope the next thing signed by McInnes is his dole application form.
  13. Today emphasised that we were lucky Hearts imploded last week with the needless red card and pen, rather than us actually being good. 1-0 flattered us massively, they missed several sitters. If any good is to come from today, hopefully the board realise we need more investment in the squad as a few injuries/suspensions could absolutely ruin our season.
  14. We were lucky it wasnt 4-0. St Mirren missed three free header sitters.
  15. I can't wait till we put Hibs in their place again multiple times this season.
  16. Christ, that happened quietly Shame, he's better than that level.
  17. I'd be surprised if we haven't already re-opened talks with Shaughnessy.
  18. Newcastle and Leicester interested. Rodgers and Bruce both rate McKenna highly.
  19. I'd say the folk who can't see it are in the minority. He's a class player and still has time on his side to improve and develop. Wright is just another example of a local lad that gets an unfairly hard time from some of our fans, probably born out of jealousy.
  20. https://forum.axishistory.com/ For those interested in WW2 stuff, that site is incredible. A massive amount of previously unseen pics etc. Obviously the Nazis were a shower of c*nts, but a lot of their architecture was utterly phenomenal and it's a damn shame that we destroyed so much of it. The Reichskanzlei in particular was a masterpiece. - https://forum.axishistory.com/viewtopic.php?f=44&t=126282 https://www.tracesofwar.com/ That site is brilliant also. Really cool how much stuff there is so close to home!
  21. This shite always seems to pop up at conveniently challenging times for the government. Almost like they know the outrage of pumping even more money into it will distract the public from other stuff. The kid is deid. If she were alive, surely to f**k someone would have seen or heard from her by now. Everything points to an accidental overdose by her doctor parents. The two c***s have looked dodgy as hell from day one, and as i'm sure has been uttered repeatedly in this thread, had they not been people of high social standing/professionals, they'd have likely been locked up already. Innocent or guilty of murder, they are absolutely guilty of neglect at the very least. The amount of kids and people in general, in this country and across the world, who go missing and don't receive anywhere near as much funding/coverage or even sympathy is bloody disgusting. Why is a wee scouse lassie's life worth more than any other? Any other missing person would've been given up on years ago. This shit makes me physically sick.
